I need help installing it, I want to configure my wireless adapter it comes with Aetheros drivers but yet for some weird reason it won't work. I even used the GUI network connections but whenever i connect it shows that it has been deactivated. The main issue is I don't have an ethernet connection, so i need to configure this external adapter. I'm not that experienced with linux in general, but i know a few things. I have no idea man.. there was no record of anything on this vehicle.. I'll be honest.. I purchased it in a bit of a haste, I was just too damn excited. The last record comes from sterling mcCall Lexus from 2010.. so who knows if it has been changed or not. I called a few mechanics here and there, timing belt + water pump + crank seal, they gave me a quote of $1000, stealership gave me a quote for $1800 (kek)

The SC has a unique style, I'd give it that but old cars do come with problems. A few years ago SC prices were at an absolute low, so you could have really good low mileage with great price. I do recommend the 98+ because it was more refined, it will be similar to your old GS but much more sportier.

I've looked for IS300s for a friend for a long time, they never come at low price, impossible to find one in decent price range..especially in Houston. The rice tax really sucks, some of these fools are selling IS300s for 9k at 200k miles.. I know there is someone selling one for around 1800 somewhere in the northwest but it may have a starter issue.

Hopefully the roads won't be wet. I do fine dry, but I have absolutely no grip in the rain.

6-8k is the minimum price for a manual, not even ones that are in good condition go for that, the good thing getting a cheaper is300 (if you can find one) and swapping a w58 in it is not that difficult in terms of compatibility, you can find manual ECUs for those cars.

Here's the route thus far.

Start at Happy Tea House, go out, Fiesta checkpoint on the south end, return to 610, possible checkpoint at the north, and then we can decide at a checkpoint or over walkie talkie if we want to do more loop laps or go to Track 21 first then return to the loop.

Each lap should only take 30-40 minutes.

If i wanted to drive for an hour and 30 minutes id go to COTA, GSR, TWS, or MSR and actually drive. Not take a bunch of boring straight roads with a slight curve here or there roads. Not to mention bellaire cops, 610 south loop cops, 290 lane closures, etc.

Seriously the best thing about the state wide Texas meets when they happened was the hill country back roads with NO COPS or traffic that had some nice things to look at with nice curves for a 300zx to crash into a wall at 10mph.

RaceRoom is actually much better than I remember, there is a lot of configuration to be done since the presets aren't that good. The Force feedback is damn good though. I wish they had done more with it, the pay for tracks/car can be a little bit annoying since the options to try them out is very limited. The multiplayer isn't regulated that well and the server list is just madness, no refine searches. Also, it isn't very beginner friendly, a friend of mine was walking me through it or else I would have some issues finding some settings.

Shift 2 is basically arcade/simulator, I like it because it allows you to customize your cars really well and also has a ton of cars. Graphics are pretty nice too and the single player is quite well. Overall it's the best "modern" NFS game ever made, most people don't seem to like the track thing but I just love it. It's high paced action and content by popular drivers is not cringy at all, compared to the new NFS. There are some really nice modes too such as drifting and my favorite part is the sound, it's really well done and is very authentic.
