Thinking about one of these as my first bike. I'm not looking for something to hoon or moto gp around it, just something to commute and enjoy riding.

It's top speed is 104 mph. Is this enough to comfortably cruise going highway speeds (in my area 60-80 mph typically) or will that be pushing the bike a little much.

If there's any consolation, I managed to break a bolt inside my front fairing cowl and ruin the needle of a speedometer while trying to change the background thingy. I think the SV650 is a better choice. You will have a much easier time finding parts (both factory and aftermarket), people to help you should you join a forum and if you ever have to sell it, it will be easier. Also, it's about 1700 pounds cheaper.

I do think it looks cleaner and more sober than the XSR. It feels more genuine ya know? The whole XSR "faster sons" thing from Yamaha seems like trying a bit too hard. But that's just me.

I wouldn't recommend the TTR bikes. I bought one and it has just been very disappointing. The engine power is seriously lacking. So much so that it doesn't even move. The seat is also incredibly uncomfortable. Gear shifter is very loose, almost feels like it isn't there. I was impressed by how light it was though.

Hello guys im nearly done completing my EVA motorcycle. I had a question about this piece on the cowl.

This small part on the side doesn't line up easily with either of the 2 holes, im pretty sure the large side fairing is meant to attach here to the cowl and then the frame but it doesn't look like it will be very flush.

Am i meant to just slightly bend\force into place? that never seems like the right idea i am too scared. Video examples are not focusing on this part at all really so i would like some advice

Diamond vision is too silver-ish/blue to the point that it isn't as good as the Xtreme vision. I got the 5000k Diamond Vision on my twofiddy and it kinda sucks at night. The Xtreme vision is more white than anything else and it's really good.
