It can get to and hold highway speeds just fine, as long as you aren't planning any especially long road trips.

Well she pissed oil over the place so I've got a leak somewhere. And of course I've gotta check the forks, hope their not bent. I remember like it was yesterday that ride after installing PR2s (I had some terribly worn Scorpions before) and being like "woah".

I went for a ride inna mountans and it went from taking it easy to full on madness in a spawn of less than 10 minutes.

That's when I realized I should work on my bp to get any faster. That day was a good day.

Nowadays I have a sportsbike waiting for parts and a 250 which has Pilot Streets. You can get some good lean on them but when you reach around 1cm of strips on either side it starts to get very sketchy, as in "I'm going to crash today if keep riding like this". Still fun though.

I had a VTR as my first bike and am now interested in K75s and K100s as an upgrade.

89-90 models have updated ratios which are easier in 15-45 mph moving than 88s. Not much else to worry about, the bike is so light that maneuverability is easy low speed.

the VTR engine is mildly related to the VFR on the bottom end, and likewise is a stickler for high quality oil changes.

Regarding BMWs, beyond evidence the previous owner kept up with maintenance to euro standards, what else should I look for?

Hi guys,
I 've got a problem with my SV. It was misfiring a few months back, down to a 33bhp limited ECU failing under load. Ran fine for a bit, after that, when hot, idle would start to get a bit rough and occasionally cut out. Started running on one cylinder a few days ago and cut out instantly at idle, and would crank for ages then start again. Changed the plugs, HT leads and coils, still running on one cylinder but without all the cutting out at idle. Any ideas ?

2007 SV650, single spark, done 47k miles.

Yeah, has some cosmetic damage here and there from being dropped by the previous(original) owner but is mechanically sound. Only 3600 miles on it when I bought it too. At 4100 now. I mostly bought it to flip though, just enjoying it for like a month first.

My SR22 with them added $50 a month for each vehicle that I had insured. So $150 extra a month. I then went to progressive where I paid less WITH SR22 than I paid without SR22 with state farm. I had also been under my grandmother's policy with state farm. With progressive I'm on my own.

Now that I don't have SR22 anymore it all dropped even more.

I have all these shitboxes with full coverage on the SRT4 and on the B-King and I only pay a total of $122/month for them all combined. Progressive is great for me.

i've seen this before on a CRF450 flat track conversion kit, and a couple other bikes. the silver rod next to it is probably a pushrod and theres a rocker linkage to make the shock compress, giving them a rising rate or whatever.
