I'm convinced the idle screw does nothing because I can hear no change but if you take the valve cover off you can adjust the rockers with a wrench. Usually adjust them in or out until they start tapping then go back a little.

If you have autoclutch enabled and h shifter disabled then you just press clutch "x" and rev up with "w", change your gear to first with "f" then let go the clutch "x".

Work the forklift by using PGUP and PGDN.

Adjusting the valves is a little buggy. Basically you have a fixed range in which you can adjust a valve. Starting at the bottom, scrolling all the way back, there is 8 clicks in the tick zone. So if you were all the way bottomed out, scrolled back, then you scrolled forward 8 clicks you would be at the first click of the 6 click no tick zone. Above that zone is 5 more clicks in a tick zone. So, you have 8 bad settings, then 6 good, then 5 bad. So if your motor is ticking and you have no idea which valve is ticking scroll every valve down 20 times, then you know for sure every valve is at the bottom. Then click each valve up 8 times, as you start on the first one, you will be on the ninth click, or the first click of the 6 click good zone. I find that setting makes the car run the best although I have no way to verify atm.

The Idle screw is rather vague, but the what you want is for the car to run a little lean but not too mean. I find running the screw in makes it leaner and out makes it richer. After adjusting, rev the motor and look at the exhaust to see how thick it is. You wanna see some exhaust but just barely. Also don't try adjusting anything until the car warms up, you can buy gauges to show temp.

Get in the car, look left, now look down. Those are manual window cranks. They actually work. Use them and let the alpine play.

Is there enough fuel in the tank? It will not attempt to start if less than .02 fuel is in tank. Have you adjusted your valves? Is there any exhaust smoke at all coming out maybe you are way too lean.

The camshaft bolts are on the end of the camshaft when you install it into the block. Its on the end of the block where the cam hole is the nuts are on each side of the cam.

If its running and not ticking just scroll each valve down till it starts ticking then back off one and you'll be at 9.

Also upon loading my game sometimes you'll get a valve that goes crazy and isnt where you left it tuned at. just scroll down till it stops the reset it to bottom good.

You need to have the header on the block.
Set it down where it's lined up pretty decently with the hoist. Really doesn't matter.
Lower the hoist to about midway to all the way down.
Tighten it with a 10.

The hoist is a little annoying but not hard, you want to have the block perpendicular to the hoist. Just the way it needs to be when it sits in the car from the front. You want your bolts to go right below the side of each head. If you watch it while lowering the hoist onto the motor you will see it slightly grab it, you will know its ready when it doesn't pick up the motor when you move the hoist up and down. Then you tighten both bolts into the head and it will kind of lock into place. When it's right it looks wrong but go with it and it will pick it up. Mounting the motor to the frame is the bigger chore as alignment is a little more critical.

The choke is useful for diagnosing whther or not you are getting enough fuel pull it when you first start the car to give it a little less air.

If you are lost on what might be loose, check your save file, the top portion has all the parts installed and should be filled with (8) meaning that is the tightest setting. (1)-(7) are loose, do not change them in the save file, go in the game and tighten them.

Posthumously, I solved a problem that haunted me for days, my oil filter was 7 clicks tight and it would cause the radiator to overheat and I couldn't figure it out till I looked at the save. I thought it was a bug but it was a feature.

So you order stuff in the book, you got your envelope, be careful you don't lose the envelope in the ride over, it usually falls above the rear shocks but lots of careful mousing will find it. There are two way I find to the store, the first is out the dirt road from your house then left and follow it out. The easier safer way of course is going through the field to the side of the garage and follow the treeline to till you get to the dirt road, be careful theres a sharp angle you can't see on approach stay far left or far right by the tree wall. when you see the big rock and the dirt road intersecting you go right then veer right onto the asphalt then right onto the highway. Keep going till you see the next turn on the right, the gas station will be a couple seconds down the road. That way is safer because the highway distance is longer but you can go faster safer on it versus the dirt road and chicanes leading away from your house.

And then when you get to the gas station you put the letter in the mailbox. You have to wait one day to get the packages. You may be able to deliver the letter and pick up the packages on the same trip but you have to use T to advance time after you deliver the letter. Then you have to arrive just before the store closes, I think it does, deliver the letter then advance time to the next morning, and pick up the packages on the back porch. Ive never tried all that but Ive theorized it should work. Also if you order a long object, such as racing exhaust, good luck fitting it in the car or installing it without the pit in the garage. Your best bet is to take the van for anything that might not fit in the car or able to be installed on the car while at the gas station.

You can steal gas at the gas station but the shop keeper will know what you have done and call you at home demanding you return and pay for it at once. Also, I know it's in the new version but I dont know about the old build but you can break out the glass in the gas station and your bill on the cash register will reflect you owe him for a window and he will cuss you and call you on the phone about it.

There's a bottle of hard liquor behind the chopping block where the wood is, drink it and attempt to keep it between the beer cans or just attempt to keep playing.

How do you take wheels off?

You can glitch the wood chopping if you chop a log then click multiple times on the wood stack it will auto chop.
