Are they bent towards the ground only on diesel cars that smoke a lot?
Why are most straight and others aimed towards the ground?

Yes, diesels blow nasty particulate matter and by law in some areas must point toward the ground. Gasoline engines don't have this extra bend as it robs power/efficiency.
If it points upward and doesn't have a cover like most semis, water could get in and cause blockage or even hydrolock the engine.

now i wanna see what a horse-cock in a condom looks like

>Gasoline engines don't have this extra bend as it robs power/efficiency.
I forgot but in what case does an engine need exhaust-back pressure?
>>14985919
No, the bend creates pressure which means the gas needs more force to be effectively exhausted, resulting in lower power output to the wheels.

On buses, I see the exhausts cleverly placed blowing downwards right in front of the rear tires. If it's raining, I bet that reduces the amount of hydroplaning water.
I drive a golf tdi with a fart can and often blast smoke because lolnocats, do whatever exhaust you want OP

on what civilized place on earth can you drive a diesel without a cat?
>>14982965
Stop posting this pic of a robot horse cock plz.
Really did look like a dick.
>>14986109
yeah like 0.01% of power
>>14989859
What, I don't believe it. I bet you mean having the cat in when inspection time and ripping it out afterwards. I don't believe that is legal in the UK.
>>14989885
it is legal.
diesels don't need cats to pass an MOT, only a smoke test.
apparently the rules are going to change soon though.
petrols after 1992 need a cat to pass an MOT though
