Varies from case to case, but generally OEM is best for headlights in terms of quality. If you don't want to pay for OEM at least get ones that look identical to stock, don't get some ricey shit.

I don't give a shit if I have to replace them once a year. lifetime is better than 3 year warranty for a part 4 times the price of the cheap one.

I don't give a fuck if someone wants aftermarket headlights, as long as they are DOT approved and are properly aimed. I absolutely fucking hate driving at night when some piece of shit Civic, Tahoe, or Chrysler 300 blinds me with their shitty Chinese eBay blue tuner lights that throw light everywhere.
