Worst of the .:R models. The mk4 is best if you want a VR6, mk6 is best fur turbo.

I think they are pigfat and only come with a DSG when compared the the mk4.

I have a mk5 gti myself and the 3.2L makes very little power N/A, you are going to have to throw massive amount of money at it to boost it.

I never understood the hate for them. they are rare, and if you talk to an owner, they all love them
