A guy is offering me a porsche 911 from the year 2000 for 9000 dollars. It has driven 125 000 km, and has no visible damage. Is this a good deal? Never owned a car before. Pic related is the car

Make sure you have another $15,000 for maintenance.
Op here. Just found out that the car has been rebuilt at Warp TM motor powered in the Us. What does this mean?
>>14957274
Yeah something is probably fucked with it.
Look for something newer ait will be worth the extra $$ to avoid the full service that thing will definitely need.
I bought a 2009 Cayman for $28K and the only thing I have had to do to it in two years is buy a full set of new tires ($800)

Really? For what?
9000 bucks for a 996 with presumably a fixed IMS bearing which should now last. This is a good 2nd car, not a good 1st car.

>really? what do i need maintenance/money for?
fucking kill yourself
9k seems sketchy, you'll probably pay a shit ton later on
dont buy an expensive car as your first, its not your last car
Op here. I found out something really weird. I googled the sellers name, and found a newsarticle about him and the car he is selling. The car is actually not a original porsche, but a rebuilded one. And its fucking electric.
I guess the deal was too good to be true

did you notice it says electric in the back?
real engine probably toast, so he replaced it with an electric motor.
