Because first thing they make you do after you fail is go talk to some "Substance Abuse Professional" which was $500 alone to fill out some little survey and talk to them for 10min. That was like $1600, and would've been more expensive if I weren't living with my mom and not working at the time.

I flew in to Houston yesterday to recover a truck.

This dude was a fleece operator and he dropped his trailer on the side of the road outside Dallas and didn't tell anyone what he was doing or where he was going.

Needless to say, Roehl canned him for being a silly cunt.

I picked the trailer up last night and showed up to the jobsite to deliver this morning, but the subcontractor wasn't there because why would he be 3 days after his supplies were supposed to show up? Of course, I'm flying blind here because dinkleberry decides he gonna take the paperwork, so I have to wait 2 hours for the supplier to open up in Arizona.

Around this time, the foreman shows up and asks me wtf I'm just sitting there for, and he eventually digs up the name of my subcontractor, who proceeds to not answer his phone for three hours.

Eventually, he does answer and convinces the foreman to look at it, who promptly rejects it because he has more important shit to do.

In total, I sat at that jobsite for 8 fucking hours before the subcontractor found a temporary place to put their SINGLE door.

The moral of the story, new Roehl drivers, is don't be a shitstain who abandons their truck, because I'm the asshole who has to clean up your shit.

Bruh, yesterday I was at this lake I go to all the time and I had by far the biggest fish ever on- twice.

Had an inline spinner on 10lb braid, something grabbed it, ran out 10yds of line in a second flat and caught the line up in something.

15min later, same spot, running a Texas-rigged creature bait on 15lb line, get a bite and hook the fucker good this time. Straight runs out 30yds of line in flat no time, I tighten up the drag, and start pulling him in 2yds while he runs out 5yds. Do this for a couple minutes, making very little progress tiring him out. Fish snags me on something again.

I have never had anything close to that big on my line. I'm guessing it was a 10lb snakehead. With how the thing ran, it coulda been 15lb-20lb and 48". It was insane. I will be back in that spot tomorrow with some 30lb line, a fat flouro leader, and heavy duty worm hooks or jigs. I need to catch that thing.

Somebody called in a favor so Monday I'll be heading out to haul flowers for a little while. Debating whether or not to drop my trailer at the shop on the way and have the suspension and braking cleaned up a bit while I'm not using it.

Kind of looking forward to liftgate work after 10 days with this faggot. Pay isn't great, but when you throw in stop, unload, and deadhead pay, it should come out to about $5/loaded mile, which should help me sleep at night.

Well this has been a great weekend. The Blazer started making a horrifying metal noise, clearly from an axle or wheel, and even if I could figure out what it is, I have no means of fixing it. Also learned that one of our cats has worms, which means all five of her young kittens probably do, and it could have spread to the other cat and my dog. Yeesh.

It's just gotten skewed with keeping them as pets instead of working as pest control. I didn't have a huge issue with my cats because they came from a farm and had been taught to hunt early on. They got most of their diet from hunted food. Or, at least, we saw evidence of them murdering and eating small animals, and they had to be fed a lot more when we moved away from an industrial bakery and it's mice.
Whether it was mice or old people feeding them bacon, we don't know, but we had to supplement their diet after the move with cheap fish and chicken.

Left stick steering, press for light modes
Right stick camera, press for in-cab cam
Triggers brake/gas - can't hill start like you said, so I put the parking brake on one of the d-pad buttons for that.
Other d-pad buttons were left/right blinker and hi-beams.
X/B were shift down/up, Y/A were retarder power decrease/increase.

But those automated manuals in some trucks are strange. Do they start pulling as soon as you let off the brake? I drove one new ProStar with a 10spd auto for a couple hours and remember how it would stay in gear when I stopped, but finally shifted to N like 3 seconds later. I just can't remember if it went back to 1st when I released the brake or when I hit the accelerator. If anything, just left foot brake. Tap the accelerator to get it in gear before you let go of the brake and good to go. Muh torks will take care of it.

Nah, I got myself a big comfy sleeper now so I'm not stuck sleeping in a daycab or in flea-ridden motels.
I miss the expansions from ETS2, though. Namely the junk I had my Scania littered with. Mug, laptop, figurines, compass, even a metal skull dangling from the ceiling!
I don't think my container of personal crap has arrived yet. Still, at least it beats running a farm and staring at the same scenery as I drive around emptying harvesters. And even though this truck's fuckhuge, it's easier to park than a mobile crane AND I don't have to fuck around digging holes.

Sim games are addictive. Farming Simulator 2015 is the worst of the lot. Construction Simulator not so much.
