Decided I'm gonna stop binge drinking lads.... or at least taper off when I stop drinking.

I partake of the cannabis most days and when I take a break from it I find myself getting a bit too drunk. It fucking damages your brain when you withdraw from alcohol due to excitotoxicity. The next day or two after a binge I feel I can't have a cup of tea or coffee because I would be too stimulated. That's me feeling the excitotoxicity. The fukken brain damage. I drink quite a bit of tea/coffee at times too.

People who drink everyday don't go through this kindling mechanism of withdrawal so they don't get the associated brain damage, only damage to their liver.

I guess when I'm tempted to drink like I am today I'll just have to taper off my intake when I stop drinking and start partaking of the herb again. So small amounts of alcohol that I'm not really even feeling to make the withdrawal process less steep and severe. I had to do that when I stopped abusing xanax. But I suppose tapering is important for these types of drugs because when going through withdrawal your brain gets damaged through exicitotoxicity through KINDLING. It's fucked up. And the thing is it gets worse every time you go through a withdrawal. To the point where you could be having seizures and stuff. It's not like how hangovers get worse as you age. Kindling doesn't feel like that. Like I said earlier I wake up feeling over energised and slightly anxious... like I've already had two coffees.

Once I made the error of consuming my usual few coffees before going to work while withdrawing from a big binge the night before. Holy fuck I didn't want to stop working for like 7 hours. I had so much energy I could barely stand still for 3 seconds. It was a bit too much stimulation

Mine did alright, but parts aviailability and 40 year old shit breaking down all the time i dont think you would handle it well, having to wrestle a landbarge 6 nights a week with a shit turning circle and poor visibility. Its also fucked for fuel, i only survived because mines dual fuel on LPG, a 465 Holley on a 40 year old 245 is going to drink at least 15 litres/100km city driving, i would be incredibly surprised if it got better than that so RIP to your earnings
