Guys If you were stuck between deciding between these 3 cars, which one would you choose and why? Pros and Cons of each?

I'm leaning with the ST
>>
toyobaru because RWD
>>
BRZ

Its more fun. Don't listen to the meme shitposters on /o/. If you can enjoy power on oversteer its the car for you. I'd buy one used. Its like a lighter RX-8 that doesn't blow up as much and gets better mpg.

The BRZ.
>RWD
>I don't have a lot of friends so no need for usable back seats
>actually designed as a sports car
>more features than 86
>>
>>14906361
Two out of those three cars started out as 4-door family sedans, OP.
>>
ST or WRX
I prefer the utility, have no issues with FWD or AWD, I'm not a fan of coupes.

I'd have to drive both to see which i prefer.
>>
WRX just plain better then the other 2
>>
WRX because
>turbo
>4WD
>Utility
>practicality
>mod support
>reliable (don't hoon it until you break it in)

But if you don't care much about room for other people, I'd say the BRZ, its RWD, cheaper, and personally I love the styling.
>>
>>14906420
>>14906421
>>14906429
The WRX is not a BRZ and therefore not a valid choice.
>>
Insurance costs of the wax are crazy, no one takes a focus seriously, the brz is sexy and RWD.
Also I drive a brz, so I'm biased and therefor you can ignore everything I say.
>>
lol as someone who has driven all of them lemme simplify my thoughts

>brz is fun to drive, rwd, but has low power (i live in a place with a lot of straights), and everyone owns one. i want one but i'll wait longer

>wrx is fun and drives good, but fuck it, it's overpriced used. hatch/sedan is pretty good for daily

>st good torque, tunable, and practical. cheap parts. turning radius sucks though

I picked the ST. do test drives and find what you like more. I probably would have picked the brz if i was in an area with more fun roads. But also I like more practical daily cars that can still fly down the road so ST
>>
>>14906420
>>14906421
>>14906429
>WRX
>dat astronomical insurance cost.
It is literally cheaper to insure an STI than a WRX.
>>
Wrx>ST>brz
Have any of you ever even driven a brz? It isn't fun. It handles terribly and wants to loose traction around every turn. Plus, it's slow as shit in a straight line. That's why the fucking HFP Civic Si beats it on the track.
>>
>>14906361
I'd take the WRX.
Pros:
>AWD
>turbo
>fast and handles well
>huge aftermarket support
>space to take the lads on a trip

Cons:
>high insurance premiums
>vapers
>cop magnet
>new ones look like a riced Camry

The FoST offers nothing new that the WRX can't do. It attracts the same [hoonigan] retards and vapers. Insurance might be a little less pricey and cops aren't going to ride your ass waiting for you to slip up. It's a toss-up between AWD and FWD here. If you don't feel you need the AWD it's worth considering the FoST.

The BRZ is like a hardtop Miata. It's RWD and fun to throw around corners but doesn't have the same straight line power stock as the WRX or FoST. The BRZ has all sorts of aftermarket options to make up for this. Out of the lot it looks the coolest but is the least practical. If you want 'muh feels' and hectic skids this is the car to pick. Just don't try racing something like a Mustang or a Civic Si at the lights.
>>
>>14906504
>Type R badge

I don't know if I'm triggered or if I want to see that thing in a body kit and painted in Championship White. Something about a Honda brings out the ricer in me.
>>
>>14906382
i thought the brz was an 86
>>
>>14906361
Buy the one that someone who regularly wears snapbacks would buy.
>>

Which car has better options for modding?

wrx actually has torque
>>
>>14906551
It is and it isn't. They're technically the same car. But the spring rates and suspension damping is different between them leading to the 2 cars to handle completely different. And the Subaru has more luxury/convenience features available (like heated seats for example) while the Toyota is more bare bones.
>>
>>14906568
But the BRZ doesn't have turbo lag.
>>
>>14906565
Likely the BRZ because it's been out longer than either of the others.
>>
>>14906461
The previous gen front fascia is reminiscent of the current gen pre-refresh Camry front fascia. The current gen WRX front fascia looks to be a riff on the newer Jaguar front fascias.

Yeah you're REALLY gonna call feel that lag when it hits peak torque at 1500 rpm
>>
>>14906691
/o/'s knowledge of any car is based purely on what was true in the 80s.
>>
>>14906691
>turbo lag doesn't exist anymore.
Of course it does. It's just not as bold and in your face as it was in the 80's.
The only way you're not gonna notice ANY turbo lag in a WRX is with the CVT automatic transmission... but then you have an unreliable CVT that's GOING to break
>>
>>14906704
My 24 lb turbo in my cobalt ss comes on at 2000 rpm i don't notice any lag whatsoever and I get to 0-60 in 5.3 seconds so yeah modern turbos have less than perceivable lag

The WRX has been around since 1992, though the FA20F is a recent addition. The BRZ hasn't been around as long (2012) but it's been running with the FA20D since production started.

The WRX will have the bigger following but perhaps less support for the FA20 since people are still mucking about with their EJ20's.

>>
>>14906361
The BRZ is slow as shit non-turbo and a waste of money for children who have never owned a RWD car before, the Focus is okay but wrong wheel drive.

Real question is WRX or ST unless you are a kid.
>>
>>14906372
>BRZ = top kek

4U-GSE boxer engine = ass dragging slow
>>
>>14906745
The problem with the FA20F is that the heads flow like shit compared to the FA20D of the Toyobaru twins. The only reason the FA20F makes more power is the turbo. That same turbo setup on the FA20D will make more power simply because the airflow is that much better.
>>
>>14906372
if you really want a sport car OP, the BRZ/86 is nothing for you. Its way too slow. 200PS not charged... thats slower than a golf gti.
the 86/BRZ is the best car chassis that you can afford at the moment, looks good, rear wheel driven and very stiff, but as long as there is no turbo charged version its just a car for poeple who have no idea about sport cars but pretend to have. like this anon i´m refering to.
No offense.

There are 2 decision tips:
If you want something for a daily drive pick the ford
If you want a race car 100% of the time, even when you drive long distance on the highway, pick the subaru wrx sti.
>>
>>14906372
Man you guys will tell yourselves anything to justify owning one.

wrx because we get snow where I live and I won't own a non AWD car as my only source of transportation.

1 out of those 3 is still slower than an average 4 door family sedan.
