That's an '88, not an '87.
>The Works RS-R model featured all wheel drive and was slightly heavier and slower because of this.
Slightly heavier, but not by much, and it had the vastly superior F6A. The RS-R is the only one worth bothering with. I'm not sure why you would go through the trouble of importing an RS-X. Looks clean at least.

It basically has a 3 cylinder turbo motorcycle engine...

Overly complicated engineering and expensive parts make them hard to work on and expensive to pay others to work on. So when someone does go wrong (and it will) it will cost you. A shame because I think they are some of the best looking euro cars.

I feel like in terms of modern audi's, anything other than an a3 is a great car, but I'm not sure about used ones.

Be wary of this car. Its very easy to crash. You may have too much confidence in your skill driving normal FR or FF cars but this is a different beast. If you can handle it, go ahead. Otherwise I would stay back.

98-06 audis are literally a meme. They're cheap for a reason, mainly because they have several problems (timing belts/chains, turbos if applicable, electrical gremlins) that will come up after 100k miles, and are hideously expensive to fix, or very time consuming to diy. Stay away from them, it's not worth it, it WILL break down on you

Nigga what? Those old 12 valve motors take insane amounts of boost on bone stock bottom ends. You really can't go wrong with any of the old jap compact trucks in terms of durability (especially down south where rust is less of a problem). I think what it will come down to most is condition of individual vehicles more than anything else. If there is one distinguishing factor, I'd say it's parts availability. Toyota will be easiest/cheapest to find parts for, then Nissan, then Mazda and Mitsubishi mighty max (maybe), and finally the Isuzu pup. Ranger and S10 are obviously the easiest and cheapest to get parts for, not sure if they are in the running or not.

Bit pricey. He'll probably get what he's asking just because it's a duramax.

Unfortunately it's an 04. Later model years would be more desirable. And it has rust.

Someone somewhere will foolishly pay 7.5 for a used rusting towing rig so they can roll coal.
>>
>>14944971
It's way over priced.

I could see a dumb white trash idiot paying for it on a 15% Apr loan.

Finally, a place to post my question? Can/should I buy this? I should have listened to you and not bought that last car, the Mercedes 1997 E320. It runs fine, but it's rusting and no air, and lost of inside stuff not working. Anyway, this has an emblem that sticks up, so sorta like the mercedes! Can I should I buy it? Please? what to look out for?
1991 Cadillac DeVille 8 cylinders, 76,000. He wants 3,000. I have a messed up spine,(yeah, ouch), so all I really care about is a nice seat. I'd finally like a car with a/c. I'm guessing this has stereo cassette? have a few more pics

Good god NO.

Get a used civic, corolla, camry, civic hacthback, NA Miata, ford focus, ford fiesta, Honda fit, ANYTHING DUDE.

Any car listed there with higher miles for 3 to 5 grand will be leaps and bounds better than that. 5 grand is NB Miata territory and all those cars will have AIR and working electronics while being SIMPLE AND CHEAP TO WORK ON.

The only worse car you could buy is a 94 Ford Taurus GL.

If you like that style of car you pictured I have bad news for you. They are all junk for the most part unless you find a very well taken care of one.

I understand I listed a lot of rice mobiles but they work well dude. A Mazda 3 or 6 would be good too but camry or corolla honestly.
>>
>>14946896
oh wow. I wan't expecting that! Won't be a car that lasts 2 years?
that sort of dashes my dreams to have a big old chunky car. So, it's not a car that lasts forever?

If you want an old comfy boat that is reliable you should get a Town Car. Pic related had 270k miles on it when I traded it in.

>>

ostentatious, that's the word i think I was looking for. ok. i got that I'll have problems, it won't be any fun. ok I'' keep an eye out for a town car. not much selection around here, but I'll wait. I asked the guy if it has air and how the rust was and if I could drive and look at it. I wouldn't mind seeing it in person. ok. don't buy it.

They make aftermarket seats for people with back problems too or covers that have gel to soften shit up.

Yeah a town car would be better if you HAVE to have that style.

Even a well known reliable Van model.

I thought town cars and these were pretty much the same. just big old tanks. evidentally not.
>>
>>14946810
I'll third the Town Car or Crown Vic (same thing) if you want a car like that. It will be infinitely more reliable than that pile of junk.
>>
>>14947089
They are good if maintenance is done but it almost never is. They sit forever or are ghetto hood cars that keep getting repossessed or sold over for Crack money.

That or the car sat for 2 decades while grandma died till the child sells it and it gets problems from sitting.

I'm sure some run great and will run forever but in general it's a bad idea compared to other options at that specific price point
>>
>>14947113
Or a Grand Marquis.
>>
>>14947115
so if I knew something about cars and they had it serviced all the time, it might be ok. But I know little about cars so look for that crown vic or town car

Mercury Grand Marquis, Town Car, Crown Victoria

Even then dude they are older cars. You could buy newer for 3 to 5 grand on different car models with better reliability even if they have higher miles.

>>14917584
the black bonnet looks possibly factory. it's the green overspray on the hood throwing you off. and on the windsheild. ffs, its not even like you cant safely use paint stripper on glass to get over spray off. it wont fucking damage glass.

no. he's selling his project car that got too expensive. he bought two wrecked cars for spare parts. nobody buys three of the same shitty car except maybe those weirdos who have classic car collections and like to restore one kind of car like minis and beetles.

no. poor people do not look after their shit. because their mindset is "easy come easy go." it's not their baby. it's not an asset. it's a flashy car vroom vroom to prove that they're "making it" to all of their friends. secretly everyone tells them its a nice car but knows they will just default on the loan.

NO NO NO NO NO
300zx are a pile of shit. you are talking about a performance car that has been abused to shit. the 300zx is constructed in such a way that any kind of engine work requires a full engine build, new wiring harness and all accessories to be replaced.

>touched a 90' 300zx once
>repaired throttle body
>fucking every sensor somehow died, wiring harness fragile as fuck
>spent weeks running new wires, new shit fucking up as I went, new ignition module, every sensor fucking bullshit car cooked all the wiring and electrics over time one wire gets a fault, it fries the sensitive early electric modules in these cars.
>This car needs new rear oil seals. That repair has been estimated by Z-Car Atlanta to be about $750.
fuck that. lifting the engine will destroy the car.

>There are a couple of tiny rock chips in the windshield.
