So I bought this used Camry 9000 miles ago and the dealer said it had been awhile since the last oil change. I haven't changed the oil since I bought it and I read that recommended 10000 miles between changes. I've been watching the tach for unusual readings that might indicate engine wear but it's been normal other than the maintenance light that came on about 4000 miles ago. Like I know ideally I would get the oil changed tomorrow but you know, real life and all. What are some good ways to tell when the engine's about to seize so I know when to change it?

Go change your oil now. It's not going to seize, but you will put more wear on the engine as the relative viscosity of the oil changes as it breaks down.

I lifted an aftermarket aux module that plugs into the stock head (that actually uses the otherwise unused aux functionality on the stock head) for my Focus from a pick n pull and I want to get it installed. I'm also going to stare at the encroaching rust iceberg on my Monte Carlo and cry. And then try to decide on front shocks or and entire shock/spring/mount package for front.

I drive 80 miles a day commuting on a number of fantastic roads 60-70 miles west of Chicago. The last fucking motor mount FINALLY came, so every last bit of it is going in on Sunday, when the weather's warm and the wind is slight, and there isn't too much sun.
