No. Most modern cars with keyless / remotes don't have keyholes in their doors. The key is only for emergency when the battery dies and is no longer able to electronically unlock itself.
That "keyfob" is old enough that they think you might want to use it.

Key doesnt go in the ignition, its got a twist to start thing.

Theres a small slot for the fob below and to the left of the wheel

As far as key gimmicks go I think VW switchblade keys are pretty cool

Jaguar keys are neat too
