Anyone noticed how 1st gen Mustangs are climbing up in value these days? Seems like a better investment to buy one instead of stocks.

yeah, apparently some local had his '66 convertible listed for $5k, original everything. one day he takes off the for sale sign to clean the windows, dude comes up to him and offers $15k.
my parents have a fully restored '67 coupe in their garage, mint condition. they're probably pretty happy with their life choices right about now.

I have an all original unrestored 1970 fastback sitting in my grandfather's barn with a 4 speed manual and an uncommon 390ci engine.
I've had about 20 boomers ask me if it's for sale. I plan on restoring it myself after I get my own place with a garage.
It basically needs everything rebuilt but all the body panels are very solid and it still starts up.

feels good
to think I traded a SN95 for it kek

But why

Looks like it's in really nice shape. Is it a V8 or inline 6?

those boomers know what's up as long as there's minimal to no rust on that bish that's gonna fetch a pretty penny once it's restored. the more original you can keep it the better.

289 V8. was restored about 4 years ago

>t. disillusioned boomer
If you were capable of doing the work you wouldn't make such a statement on a best case break even proposition.
If you can't do the work then you're too ignorant to know better or afford a restoration anyway so have fun buying the rusted heap for 10k and being too poorfag to fix it until your kids scrap the POS.

Weight reduction bro

Makes me glad I have a 71. The 72 and 73s are still hold shit for value.
I actually just bought a 64 1/2 from a boomer that has the original 170ci, C4 trans, and diff. Pic related, already started restoring. The body is currently being sandblasted, so I am keeping busy rebuilding the engine and trans.

Not the fastbacks, they're pretty rare too nowadays.
