Idunno, the show started to get less interesting in the project D arc imo. Anyhow 10/10 carautism for anyone who has a thing for streetracing and japanese cars.

I enjoyed season 1 quite a bit, thought 2 stepped it up, 3 was alright, 4 was alright as well, 5 was boring imo, final stage was nice again.

While the Spoon EK9 race was the best race of Fourth Stage and one of the best in the series, it doesn't forgive the rest of the season from being a step back from the first three stages. Aside from the Spoon EK9 race, the BNR34 race, and arguably the NA8C race, none of the races in Fourth Stage are better than the races from the first three.

1st > 3rd > 2nd >> Final > 4th >>>>>>>> 5th

Romance wise it is only get worse each stage. Then you will have to go through this terrible ordeal.

Im halfway through Fourth stage atm and I still enjoy it. It gets repetitive af though, just endless racing with minor plot details. First stage was bearible and everything after had much better animation and everything but like everyone here has said, third stage is probably the peak. If you enjoyed First stage then you will probably like everything else too.

Honestly worse. The slice of life aspect gets drowned out completely by the end of Second Stage. Any new characters are completely one dimensional, cardboard cut-outs for Takumi and Kesiuke to defeat. There's a couple of exceptions like God Hand and God Foot who they hype up for ten episodes or Rotary Waifu but nothing compared to the first two stages. It becomes nothing but racing and looses it's charm.

However, you're in so deep you don't give a fuck and you watch it all anyway.
