You can get a set of harbor freight manifold gauges for the cost of one of those fancy cans. While not stellar, the HF gauges are just fine for the occasional home AC repair.

Buy gauges from HF, a vacuum pump and Freon. Replace compressor, dyer and expansion valve. Literally takes 2 to 3 hours to get your ac to work freezing cold. All for less than 400USD.

My AW11 has AC but it need recharged but its one of the old systems so its really hard to get replaced. Will probably just delete it tbqh.
Heat barely works on super cold days, but it's enough to get the car warm, thank goodness for the tiny interior of the AW11 because that heating system would do nothing if I had the air volume of a Corolla or something in there. I just blast heat at my feet and it gets comfy in no time.
