Depends on what you're looking for.
I have experience with both brands, but older models - E36, A4 B5, 80 B3 and A3 8L. BMW has better build quality and is much more satisfying to drive, Audi rusts less and is less of a pain to maintain in terms of money.
Both brands make shit cars now.
