Going to be painting my wheels with rattlecans tomorrow. Can I get away with just matte black witg some clearcoat, or do I gotta shell out shekels and get primer, and maybe glossy black instead of a matte black?

whats the best motul or redline mix for my ka24e transmission

i can get both at a 10 percent discount so im kinda tor between some redline with shock proof oil and and full on motul 75-90

im leaning toward motul but ive read good things about the shock proof mix

i did this shit a while ago with my z32 but with plasti dip

i sanded and washed both front and rear sets then prime red only the rear with rustoleum.

the rear came out a lot better with non of that orange peel shit.

the plasti dip on the unprimered wheels came out rough textured

while the ones with primer came out smooth still to this day.

its better to pay a bit more and get the can of primer or better yet sanding primer if you can find it.

im ass-uming that if you were to use the matte paint it would be the same thing. and clear coat is a lot harder to lay down.

Messed with my crooked air intake system, put the bolts in right and whatnot, now, the car throbs like crazy at idle. Any ideas? It's an e28 if it makes a difference

I use MT90 in my fs5r70a in my v6 truck but they are the same fluids for each. As long as they don't go higher than GL-4 then you'll be fine but chances are with the age of the truck that the previous owner just put the parts store shit in it anyways which is multi-compliant.
