Say I want to build my own Caterham, but I live in the US. I've done some googling, but I can't seem to find anything helpful about it. Any ideas?

Fixed that for you, OP. I can't say that other thing you accidentally said.
It might be worth looking at some of the other manufacturers of Seven-style kits as well. Westfield is a big one and I know there are some in the US, and then there are tons of Locost Miata-based kits.
Personally, if I were building a kit car, it'd be Exomotive's Miata-based DBR1 kit instead of a Seven. It's almost as light as a Caterham and I love the idea of blasting up the local canyons in something that makes me feel like I'm driving in the '59 Targa Florio or whatever, even if it lacks the sheer pace of the Caterham.

Emigrate to the UK, if you can stand to be without your guns.

why don't you call caterham in the uk and ask if their kits come with assembly instructions?

This.
Caterhams are nice, but they're far more expensive than other Seven clones for not a huge amount of extra performance.
