Whats up br/o/s, I just wanted to know if anybody had some insight on where the best touge/twisties in the KC area are. I've heard good things about WYCO lake, but I believe they close at night (correct me if Im wrong) and there are cops there a lot.

also general KC thread

Hey KCbro

WYCO lake is what other people on said, but I feel the same as you. Hooning in a park sounds sketchy

Are you in Johnson county? Lately I been hitting soon to be neighborhoods. Where the roads are paved but there's no houses yet. Don't have to worry about any traffic, just you and pavement. If you do get in trouble at least in can say you were only putting your life in danger.

This is in Lawrence, but Clinton Lake and its surroundings (RV access roads, county roads) are great. Corps of Engineers maintained roads, never seen a cop and you can speed runs across the dam, which is exactly 1.5 miles long, arrow straight and flat. Though the dam is occasionally patrolled by Douglas County Sheriff.

Where are these neighborhoods? I'm in JoCo too and I don't see much new construction.

I'm guessing your in OP?

Trying Western Johnson county, Outskirts of olathe, shawnee

If anything this is kansas afterall, Just keep driving west and you bound to find some empty backroads

and sorry for the grammar

Heartland Park is opening back up for road racing so you can go fast in a controlled environment and not be a total cuck. There's also RPM up north and Gateway out East. If you want to go a bit more than 1-3 hours for those then there's Hallett and Hastings Motorsports Park within 4-5 hours.
>>
There are some good rural routes that aren't exactly twisty, but you'll never see a cop and you can safely go 120+ in the sense that you won't hit a car or tractor you don't see, but not in the sense that you still wont' wreck and die because you're a shitty driver in some shitbox.
>>
Haha there is none
Not like there is here in ca anyway

Did I fucking ask about California?
>>
>>14849817
Yeah, but we get to enjoy red state small government motoring laws:

No emissions tests, no annual inspections, one plate state, personalized plates are free, minimal speed enforcement outside of the suburbs, no radar detector bans, no limitations on car mods, no state-level approval scheme for intake/exhaust parts, unlimited kit car building.

I could daily drive a straight piped car that idles high, smokes, and spits fire and I could do it on non-streetable track slicks and my interaction with law enforcement would consist of them complimenting my mechanical handiwork.

Oh damn. I didnt hear that about Heartland Park. Thats good news.

No. I want to have a touge battle.

So can I because I keep it registered elsewhere

Fine. Look I'm from South Lake Tahoe, so I know exactly what I'm missing.

Your smugness and the fact that you have a unique username on 4-fucking-chan leads me to believe you should take that out of state registered car of yours, get up to 120 mph and plow into a tree, seatbelt off and drenched in butane.

I spent 18 years of my life in Kansas City so I know exactly how bad it is

At least I have somewhere decent to drive my car

Enjoy your gilded cage you sun bleached ultra-cuck. When Jerry Brown and his leftist goon squad take the last shreds of your freedom, us flatlanders will still be here, no worse for your loss.

I am so looking forward to this. I've lived in Topeka for 7 years but never went to Heartland or had an interest until after it shut down. I was stoked to hear it's getting back in gear but I'm nervous to just go by myself and have no idea where to go or what to do. I want to go watch some races first and eventually take my motorcycle and car out for some fun.
