I'm from texas, a lot of people think it's cool here. Some people don't say anything about it. All of the girls usually say that it's cool or mention something about it. Some of my guy friends that don't know much about cars think it's cool.

I don't think most people here really care. Most people in the US over 30 can drive manual but many don't because dealerships just don't stock many. Younger people often never get the chance to learn. Both my cars are manual, I've never even owned an auto and nobody really gives a shit because to be fair it's not much worth caring about.
