had an fr-s for 3 years, been supercharger, full exhaust, all the bells and whistles. Was still just sorta eh. They're like little more than scene cars..

Build quality is not very good, cheap interior, bad paint, lots of TSBs..

The torque will annoy you, and you'll want to fix it by either going FI or buying headers/CAI/tune/exhaust. Either way, you're going to lose your warranty. Also the Toyobaru has a shit interior.

Get a Camaro 1LT with the V6 if you want something new.

As weird as it sounds I ended up buying an Audi after almost closing a deal on a new BRZ. The interior was just shit on the BRZ/FRS and coming from a Ford I was never going back to that. If it wasn't bad enough it's got red stitching through the whole car, felt like I was 13 years old sitting in it. Second worst $25k+ car interior in existence behind the new Jeep Renegade.
