I just change the whole axle as one piece because it's a lot simpler and still cheap. Can just remove whatever you want to get it separated from the wheel hub. Upper ball joint and outer tie rod should be good.

Honda has a 7 year warranty from date of manufacture on their shitty paint for my model. I had the hood resprayed ~2013 cause it was real bad. Just recently I noticed the paint was starting to go on the trunk. I am 99% sure my car was out of warranty because it was manufacturer August 2008. I figured I might as well go try. I was running through arguments in my head on the way over.

I pull and ask about the paint and get, "Oh did Joe send you?" Joe saunters out and walked around the car, "Yep, yep all this is going." Another guy comes out with a paper, "It's in warranty."

Long story short homeboy wetted up the whole car and fixed every scratch. Me thinks he has a little ring going with his auto body friend.

I've been watching this particular car for the last 3 weeks since they put it on the lot. Test drove it the first day out and the guy wouldn't budge on its original price of 17900.

They've raised the price twice in the last 3 weeks and I don't know why

previously it was 17900, then it was 18100 and now its 18200. I keep feeling like other people who saw this car low balled the dealer too much for the dealer's taste and raised the price so when people go to lowball they'll get close to that 17k mark. Would this be a fair assumption?

Think I need to make plans to swap my front lower ball joints. Real bad creaking in the front left wheel when turning while the wheel is straight and it stops after about a half turn either way. Also creaks a lot when driving down roads that aren't smooth.

What's the cheapest option for this? Remove the hub myself and bring it to somebody to press in the new joint?

It's the worst road in town. The suspension looks good and makes no noise when I bounce on it. Once I turn the wheel far enough the squeaking goes away and while I'm going straight it'll make noise when hitting bumps. Front left wheel by the way.

I have a 2007 Honda Accord, Automatic. It shakes like hell when idling, especially when at a stopin drive/park/revverse, but mostly when in drive and reverse at a stoplight. You can feel the vibration in the steering wheel, and it is way more severe when the air conditioning is on. I cleaned the throttle body with throttle body cleaner. It is drive-by-wire, so I had to clean when the car is running, or else you can mess up the motor in the throttle body. I thought cleaning that would make the idle smoother because it would clean out the carbon buildup and gunk in the throttle body. In November, I had the front and rear engine mounts replaced, they were totally cracked. That sort of helped. Then I had the side engine mount replaced two weeks ago. It sort of helped, but again, it did not get to the root cause of the problem. Then, I replaced all three motor mounts again, and the transmission mount, and the vibration is worse. Why is this? Do I need to play with idle control? All my mounts are good now. Also, Honda uses hydraulic mounts for the engine. Transmission mount is not hydraulic.

Engine is a K24A8.

Was doing a tire rotation earlier and decided to find out why the front left is higher than the front right. Moved the fork up higher on the front right all the way up to the notch but the driver side was still very slightly lower. Went to mess with the adjustment knob on the Koni Yellows and the driver side leaked fluid when I started rotating it. Looks like I'll have to get that one rebuilt. Rotating the knob doesn't change the feel at all. Changes quite a bit on the passenger side.

Also the driver side shock fork is nowhere near the notch like I moved the passenger side. I believe it's supposed to be higher. I know it'll bottom out if I put it in the same spot as the other one so I guess I'll be looking for somebody to rebuild it.
