Nobody here has a garage or actually works on cars for that matter.

Should've remembered that...

I really need to get some hooks on the wall. I would like to make a work bench too, but renting this place so...
My old house in IL had potential but the garage was falling down. Big work bench, heater for the winter, drill press, heavy vice, grinding wheel, a bunch of shit from when my dad was there. The place kinda became a mess though. I try to keep this garage a little better.

I think this wall would be a good place for a work bench and a bunch of pegs and hooks in the wall. There is a 4' 2-bulb flourscent light right above so it is really bright. I mentioned before though that the fucking wall is concrete or something, so it's a bitch to get hooks in there.

It's soda pressing.

Yup, you really do need some hooks, even if just to get all the shit away. I'd also look into getting those cables attached to the wall

considering building a garage on a small plot of land desu
with an electrical connection for heating and tools

You should've seen it before. That pic is kinda old anyway. Besides the pile of laundry, it's actually bretty clean as far as garages go.

Hey, I'm happy I have a garage to work in. That shit was a mess, I just need to clear out a little more laundry. The garage isn't very big though. I do lots of projects on my patio anyway since there is a roof over my head and I just work at the table out there.
I really need to get on the hooks and work bench though because all my power tools are in that blue box next to my tool chest. It would be cool to hang them on the wall and set a charger up there permanently. Also maybe one day grab a compressor but I don't really wrench enough to do it.

I'll post after work but my garage is trashed. I do a full scrub down last weekend of April, but its gathered a bunch of crap over the winter. The floor is more oil impregnated than last year as well. I really need to put down some sort of floor covering/coating. Pic semi related, you can see a bit of garage. One side is 2.5 cars wide, the other is 1.5 wide and has its own separate ventilation and heating. It's storing my old Datsun at the moment but I have used it as a paint booth.
>tfw no lift
I am so envious of my friend, living right next to his father and having full acess to any tools you might ever need

Damn, that would be the dream. I would love to have a lift and a small metal and wordworking shop at home. Not because I wrench a ton, but that shit is fun to play with.
