Rev up your engines and feed the bullshit gods

>Hey bro, can I at least get some doors?
>>14822781
What's ridiculous about that? Are you 12?
>"yes it runs great"
>cool I'll be there in an hour to check if out
>get there
>"yeah ummm it doesn't have a battery in it but we can take yours out and use yours or just buy it and have it towed!"
>I guarantee it runs great!
>>14822781
Not a bad deal. The rebuilt engine and transmission is worth at least 6k.
>>14822807
>Not a bad deal
>No panels, glass or interior
>No fucking suspension or brakes
>No mention of a rebuild, just a 'fresh' engine and a shit gearbox
Kill yourself.
>>14822781
Doesn't seem unreasonable, not like someone looking for a daily driver is going to mistakenly be suckered into buying this or something like that.
Why you mad OP?
>>14822818
It's only $10,000 you fucking retard, not $100,000.
>>14822841
Yes faggot, and actually completing it will only cost $50,000 because it comes with NOTHING.
>>14822818
Drivetrain rebuilds are a major cost when restoring a vehicle.
This has already been completely stripped and has good floor pans, quarters, door sills, etc along with "some new parts and all original parts" to rebuild the car. It's a really solid base but how good of a deal it is would depend on what all comes with it that isn't mentioned.
>>14822835
I ain't mad, just found it a little ridiculous. Don't really do project cars, but apparently it ain't that bad.
Here's a neat one. Ever see a custom golf cart before?
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sby/cto/5519222362.html
>>14822849
And? Are you stoopid?
Don't pass this shit up guys. This is actually kinda neat

Please read it, You {probably} won't regret it.
>>14822781
Yeah he's a bit high on the price and if he somehow managed to invest 32K into that and it looks like that someone tricked this poor baby boomer VERY badly at his auto shop.
That car should be basically complete for that much money (mechanically speaking and barring a 10k paint job and interior to the stars) unless he bought 28 thousand in lube and just jerked off in front of the car with his volunteer firehouse buddies.
https://rmn.craigslist.org/mcy/5522898758.html
>called the guy and ask if I can test drive the car if I bring cash
>NO I'll take you for a ride
>Fucking really?
how the fuck is anyone going to buy this shit without test driving it?
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ram/cto/5532796848.html
>>14823194
Why would you want a haunted bike?
>>14823582
Probably because it has problems shifting or starts all fucked up cold so when you show up it will have already been running and warmed up. He will drive it and not do things that cause its issues to pop up.
Now you know.
Cool color. Shame it's not a hard top.
>>14823582
over the phone or text he might be a dick, but irl he might loosen up and let you test drive. he's a dumbass if he really thinks someone will buy a car without a test drive though
>>14823582
Because the majority of the test drivers are terrible and end up crashing the car?
Use some logic; I've seen and experience your type before.
>I know how to drive manual! I had a miata and know how to carve corners
>>14825042
>Test driver crashes car
>Driver is not liable
>Insurance doesnt cover it
Yeah, good idea?
>>14822781
>I've got the engine and transmission I promise!
>N-No I'm not taking a picture of them! Why would you need that?
>>14823582
>Top cover looks broken
>100k+ KM
>11k dollerydoos
>no test drives
Bitch if you want that you better tell him you're taking it to a mechanic to get it looked over first, I've seen S2Ks for that price that looked showroom quality with half the miles
>>14825114
>mechanic to get it looked over first
Do people really do this? Are people this cuck'd
I hate when people try to offer me trades but won't tell me the VIN. Whenever it happens, I report them to the police as a potentially stolen vehicle
>>14825078
thats why you hold the cash while they're on test
you crash it you buy it
>>14823116
They know that, thats why they sunk probably more that 10k into a 76 corvette and they only want 8500 for it.
>>14825207
>cash while they're on test
Yeah, they are going to allow me to hold 10 grand on my hand? That's a bunch of bullshit
>>14823174
>https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/5500484845.html
Sounds like schizopreina
>>14825078
The car is insured, not the driver.
>>14825161
>Wanting to make sure a huge purchase isn't a pile of shit waiting to fall apart.
If you can do this yourself, then do it, if you think that just giving your money to someone without verifying you're not buying a bucket of problems is fine, you are an actual retard
>>14825259
Not when they find out the driver is not the actual owner and holder of said policy
> giving your money to someone without verifying you're not buying a bucket of problems
Because the 'mechanic' does little to nothing to verify it? But the getting the 'mechanic' is the equivalent of cuckolding
>>14822781
This car seems insanely cheap, given the upgrades at this milage:
http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/5517584030.html
Thoughts? That's like $2k down and $300 for only 2 years, which is pretty attractive compared to some of the leases I've been looking at.
>>14822849
The guy has it stripped down bare for restoration, dumbass. The reason it's only $10k is because you have to put it back together yourself.
>>14826878
looks clean but fuck buying a modified car. plus those ricey stickers dont help
>>14826968
I was thinking about that, but if you look at the mod list, it's nothing too invasive.
The only mechanical mods are an exhaust and a cold air intake.
Everything else is cosmetic, plus that's a few grand worth of audio.
>>14825332
bu..bu..but senpai! I am a ASE certified mechanic.
>>14826878
>no forms of payment will be accepeted.
sooooo, it's free?
http://houston.craigslist.org/cto/5521835565.html
I hate being poor.
>tfw too poor to afford a good Alfa Romeo
>tfw too poor to afford paying for an Alfa Romeo's maintenance
