The M badge stands for motherfucker.
>>14796161
>>14796161
AMG for sure.
>muh awesome sounding 4-cyl tiny bangers AMG CLA45/GLA45
>awesome combination of luxury, biturbo V8, performance in somewhat affordable package AMG C63 S
>car of the year in many books AMG GT S, delicious powerful, lightweight, RWD sports coupe
Versus such things as
>pigfat M2 hardly lighter than bigger more powerful Ms
>Worst M3/M4 to date, disgusting sounding turbo I6 with electronic stereo "exhaust" sounds to somehow mask it
>Deteriorating driving experience as the years go by, more emphasis on comfort and refinement (while still using cheap cabin materials and being expensive as fuck)
historically M, but right now AMG
>>14796207
You sir have good taste.
>>14796184
This. 100%.
I can't choose. On the one hand I want to overtake everyone on the way to the office inthe week with an M6, but then again I want to get to Lake Geneva at the weekend as fast as possible in an SL65.
>>14797101
i second that
too bad the only FSport Lexus available in my country is the GS F, but it carries a tax of €50K so it's not worth it.
>>14796161
e36 or e92
>>14797136
>being european
>>14797136
Well it is the best one out there, power of the RC-F and a four door practically. Only naturally aspirated one too, so you're lucky m8.
>>14796161
I don't give a fuck. I judge cars on their individual merits, not on stupid shit like brand, country of origin, etc.
>>14796161
If it has to be new then AMG if it's between all of their cars over time then M all the way
Depends. I'd drive an M2 over an FWD AMG like the CLA45.
Every price class over that though, I'd go with an AMG.
That said, I think the sentiment about BMW sacrificing too much driver experience for comfort is a little overblown, and particularly when comparing to MB/AMG. Yes, EPS is numb as fuck compared to hydraulic steering, but that's hardly a BMW-only problem.
>>14797101
the car is nice but that grill is to gross for my to ever want one
>>14796161
>remember what BMW stands for...
Big Money Waste
>>14797101
Shame it's hideous, overweight and slower than its competition at both BMW and MB
The ///M stands for ///Märicon, German for performance.
I drive a E36 M3. I'd get the M2. Maybe the E92 M3 if I could track one down like I want it (hardtop, not silver/black, sedan) or a AMG GTS. Everything else is fodder for Russian oligarchs and Saudi princes.
I like old BMWs more than anything M or AMG but I guess that doesnt count so Ill go AMG
>>14797879
>E92
You mean this...?
>>14796161
BMW doesn't make an M touring anymore. It saddens me. But Alpina is still a thing, so...
Alpina B5 biturbo touring or E63AMG touring. Fuck me, that's a hard choice...
>>14796161
>>14796207
>bitching about bmws being too heavy
Mercedes makes overweight cars, look up the specs, the C63 sedan weighs about 550 lbs more than an M3.
The new C63 is a disappointment compared to the previous generation.
Also the AMG GT-S costs more but still gets outperformed by an M4 GTS coupe.
Anyway I support M

Pic related is for sale for $35k and meets my qualifications. Manual, sedan, hardtop, not silver/black. I'm just too poor to buy it.
>>14797998
But the C63 isn't supposed to compete with the M3. That's more M5/6 territory...

BMW guy here, I agree.
>>14798211
Same here
>>14798173
Wrong
C63/m3
E63/m5
S63/m6
The c class is in the same class as the 3 series, they have always competed
Only one Merc can get me out of this.
The CLK 63 AMG.

AMG. True patrician vehicles.

>>14798691

The 4 door c63 with the 6.2L V8 is GOAT
