What does /o/ thinks about this car?
It car.
It car.
an MP4-C Merged with a P1.
MP4-12C > Facelift
Pre-facelift looks SO much better.
I don't like convertibles, although I love Mclaren

I think it's probably amazing.
Some (maybe most) reviewers bitch and whine about it being "soulless" and "like driving a calculator" but I don't buy into that shit.
Also I think Clarkson made a good point, removing the roof and giving it more power has probably made it perfect.
On a side note I saw a 570S the other day in the flesh, a few things surprised me
1) It's actually really small
2) It looks a heck of a lot better IRL than it does in pictures, especially the back of it
3) The interior looks really nice and easy to use
I'd definitely take that over something like an R8 or a 911. I think a lot of the technology has "trickled down" from the more expensive cars into the 570S.
To be brutally honest I'd probably save $30k and get a 540C which has a smoother ride and is only like .2 seconds slower to 60.

Good. I've driven it and it's a great experience.
I'd kinda like to buy one and wreck it, just to see how it is.

That's great to hear, and just what I thought! How can a 650 hp convertible not be a great experience?! I just think some of the journalists are jaded as hell, there's no way a normal person is going to go out, drive that and come back saying "meh, it's a bit soulless"

It's perfectly possible for a car to feel unimpressive, even with huge numbers. But, despite a few flaws in its design, the interior is pretty nice. Most importantly it feels like a nice place to be in as a driver. It's got a great feel to the engine (sound, response, power delivery..."feel"...it's just great).
It is a little bland on the steering, but I suppose that's adjustable with some of the electronic bullshittery. I haven't tried every setting. The car feels good on the road, though, so it's something of a minor gripe.
Oh well, not that I have THAT many comparisons, but I do feel it has a soul. Most importantly, the environment (sound, inside and out) still felt unique.
Also I'm not good at describing shit, so I have little idea what I'm saying.

I should organize a test-drive for myself, but I'm worried I'll want it so much that I have to start selling meth or something
