sounds cozy
2 years ago, took a trip from LA to Canada by myself. Put the seats forward, laid down a sleeping mat and I would sleep in the trunk, feet first with my head sticking out the front.
In a 1996 Toyota Corolla. Pretty cozy. Watched Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire 3 times in the back.
How do i camp in ths
Is?

Carpet the bed and put a shell on?
>>14791218
It's called a "bed" for a reason m8ey
>>14791218
Easily
>>14791241
That near San Diego?
>>14791256
Yes, actually. Carlsbad State Beach
>>14791269
Yeah, thought it looked familiar.
>>14791273
It was a nice campsite, desu
It gets a bad rap because the trains run a few blocks away, but they stop running around 10:30 anyways. All I could hear was the ocean below (and the loud-ass kids in the trailer next door)

THE FUCK WHEN DID DESU GET IN THERE
Time to stop spamming that, fucking autocorrect
>>14791301
I need one of those awning things.
>>14791036
Are you going to make a platform to sleep in?
>>14791218
They have tents that go in your bed or pickup a cheap cap on Craigslist.
>>14791353
yes. not sure if level with back or level with top of rear wheel wells.
The front areas are 11" lower than existing rear floor. If I went did top of wheel wells I'd get about another 4-5" and a wider sleep area but less headroom.
>>14791361
The wider is probly better. You could also make it so you have storage underneath
>>14791361
Fits a fair bit of gear in space that was the seats.
>>14791350
Yeah an Easy-Up makes a camping trip really nice in a pickup
Even if you don't have a shell, just lower the awning really close to the bed and use that as a "temporary soft-topper"
