Yeah, I've driven both and I still prefer manual but my car has a really light clutch anyway.

Generally here England the manual had dominance though automatic is becoming ever increasingly popular, mainly thanks to audi/BMW/mercades brands becoming ever more popular.

If you know how to drive manuel, you're more than likely just able to satisfactory at it.

Motherfuckers who think that they can drive top dollar super cars with manuel transmissions just because the 86 Honda Civic hatch they drive has a manuel transmission are horridly deluded.

You COULD drive such a car, but you'd be trash at it. You'd be revving the fuck out of the engine because you have no idea where the grab point is and/or you'd be unaccustomed to the weight of the clutch.

That being said, I grew up on a manuel transmission (15-21, 93 Geo Metro) and I fuck up on nicer manuel transmissions like on a Subaru.

I prefer manuel, but have driven autotragic for the past four years.

How dense are you?
I've driven older 90's Honda manuals and I've driven new Subaru manuals, specifically the WRX and STI. Sure, they take a little bit to get used so, as I'm sure any super car with a manual would be. But give me a couple days with it and I guarantee you I would get that shit down and be shifting it like an eg hatch.

You're capable of driving a manual gearbox, but you're not fucking god-tier at it.

This is why I'm mad at the strawpoll, people think they're God's gift to the clutch pedal. When in reality, they're putting around in their Honda Accords just fine and somehow thing they can handle DDing a Lambo or Porsche.

There isn't even a "God's gift to the clutch pedal" option on the strawpoll. The option that implies the most skill says "fluent/smooth manual". Which i'd say is pretty common if you have ever DD'd a stick before.
