The Geo Tracker is Possibly the Most Attractive Car Ever Designed by God and The Mini SUV style is unbeatable.

do you have one? or maybe the Elusive Mitubishi Pajero, or a Daihatsu Rocky, or a Suzuki Samurai??

Post pics, share stories, tell me all about your mini suv.

Here in New Jersey i could buy a Jeep Wrangler for the price of a Suzuki Samurai, which is just bullshit. So I've been looking at the Suzuki Grand Vitara and Geo/Chevrolet Tracker. Can you tell me if any of these are good deals based on year/mileage?

Ignore the $1,800 2004 Chevrolet Tracker, I didn't notice the rebuilt title.

geo trackers are fucking shitheaps. OP is insane

>convertible top (wind noise)
>suzuki 4 cyl and a 5. something axle ratio drives like a tractor
>shortest wheel base ever
>you can touch the rear wheels from the driver seat. short. wheel. base.
>RWD motherfucker

basically like a off road only vehicle that somehow has registration. only a white trash hillbilly would daily drive one

other than that they're pretty cool and actually corner scary fast for their ride height/suspension
>>
>>14779703
>implying that tiny wheelbase and tiny size AND tractor gear ratio that puts you in 5th at 35mph for 32mpg isn't great for crowded city traffic
>not putting a hard top on it to kill the wind noise

Then it's a great offroad vehicle on top of that.

I saw a bone stock samurai for $400 last week. Rusted to shit, but the ad still lasted less than a day. Then there was one missing the doors and the title but had a sidekick 1.6 swap for $600 the day after that which also lasted less than a day.

All the other ones people want stupid amounts for like 5k. And they're gutless compared to the trackers/sidekicks. Especially the 16v and sport versions.

Man no offense but you're full of shit.

These two are the only semi-good ones out of that. Forget the pigfat second gens completely (anything post-98) and the first gen four doors unless you really want the space and can get one cheap.

I'd prefer the manual but it needs a top and they fucked up the bottom of the dash putting in shitty speakers.

The automatic probably needs an alternator. But you can get one of those for like $30 since it's a fucking tracker.

I have Samurai or specifically euro/jap version SJ413.

While I don't drive it anymore because I've fucked up my back this is by far the cutest and most fun car I ever had.

Had my tracker for about ten years. Recently did some small upgrades like hard top, small lift, new wheels with bigger tires, new stereo and speakers after the old one finally kicked the bucket.

Yesterday I made an adaptor cable for my wire harness so I could hook up the '98 rear defroster stuff to the one from the hard top that came off a '89 sidekick.

Waiting on my new steel bumper so I can cut my brush guard to fit and install my new fog lights.

The thing I probably like the most about it mechanically is it's dead simple and convenient. It's high enough off the ground, you don't have to jack it up for most maintenance stuff. With the space in the engine bay you can reach just about everything without having to take a bunch of stuff off.
