Fastest I've ever been was 103 in a subaru outback. Outrunning a dust storm somewhere in Kansas. Nobody on the road except for an undercover cop car that flew past me doing at least 120, and he just waved at me as he went by.

Car could easily do 130-140, but I don't make it a habit of speeding at all, let alone by 30+ mph.

I've hit 140 mph in my 5.0 mustang before I started running out of road and got scared, but from what I understand the car has an electronic limit of 145 anyways. Supposedly if you use a tuner to remove the limit it will touch 160 mph.

Had my old 300zx at 123 MPH on the way back from work on the highway one day. Fastest I've been so far. The car may have had a few more in it but meh.

For what it is its not as good as it should be since I roasted tire till half track. It's a 78 Nova with a 406 sbc. Weighs about 3400+ pounds with my fat ass in it. We got a set of slicks to remedy that this summer. Also it should help that we dont run when it's 55 degrees out in october

It was a N/A Z31. It was in fairly good shape until it got rear ended too.

Bought it for 2200 and fixed it up a bit, then after it was crashed the body shops were quoting us 4000-4500 to fix. It needed a new bumper, crash bar and foam thing under the bumper, new center tail light, but none of that was too bad. The thing that killed it was that the entire quarter panel on the driver side was pushed forward about 4MM, touching the drivers door, and crinkled a bit. I'm really surprised no glass popped.

Thinking back to it I probably should have gotten checked out. Neck hurt the day after and I was having a hard time telling the 911 lady where I was in a small town I'd lived in for ever

Yeah, really it wouldn't be too bad for someone that had a frame rack and some free time, but I needed a car. Bought the shitbox Subaru with the insurance money and beat the piss out of it with no remorse. I used to baby the hell out of that Z because it was too nice for me.

Imnot sure on actual numbers but I'd like to think it's in the neighborhood of 375-400 hp and 400-425 tq NA. It's got a hot cam, aluminium heads, big carburetor, good exhaust, decent compression. If it hooked it would have been in the 12s or maybe even an 11.99 car. We'll find out soon enough with these on the rear
