2 door yaris owner here. 2007 model. It's alright, but I have told myself no more small cars after this one.

Good mileage if normal driving

From my experience no, they are weak cars in general. Also I'm sure mine is just a 4 gear I dunno.

I have driven from Thunder Bay Ontario to Winnipeg Manitoba on a single tank. Over 700km and little over 8hours straight. The sweet spot for me was 87-89km/h.

That speed btw is totally unacceptable on interstates, but perfectly fine going through the Canadian shield.

I jump on the interstate and anything over 100 and my mpg gets sloppy, over 115 and its garbage. At which point I question why the fuck I'm driving a tiny car if I want to get there so fast and burn almost half a tank of gas in a 2 hour trip.

well, meme just became real. what engine? I'm curious because here on sudacaland Yaris are known for good mileage and chilean highway speed are 100-120 km/h also Yaris here are 4 cylinder 1.5 liters manual gearbox so they get around 14-15 km/l on highway.

Wife drives a 2 door yaris also, Ive gotten 35 mpg on a trip from santa monica to phoenix in 5 hours. 70 - 80 in cali 95 - 100 through az desert.

But its shit on the highway. Darty steering, loud, shit ride, shit stereo. I redid her whole stereo and added a lot of sound damping and now its not too bad. Also have a ton of room, im 6 4 and 250 and I fit just fine in it.

As a city commuter car 9/10. For highway trips 3/10
