Looks pretty smart, nice interior and actually drives pretty well.
>trusting Peugeot build quality.
I'd buy that Peugeot if it wasn't that ugly
Literally any alfa
Fiat 500
Love the utilitarian but weirdly fashionable design. It even comes in a convertible. Plus its cheap.
But its a Fiat, why can't they make reliable small streetcars when Mazda, Toyota, and Honda can?

/o/ = everything ever is a meme.
>>14742638
No seriously. That Peugeot would have been perfect if it was RWD. Now that design, with the spiced up engine and FWD, that's meme material right there.
Over 200hp from a 1.6, can't see that going wrong anytime soon...
>>14742654
Peugeot would never do RWD. I don't see why they couldn't have made it rear engined using one of their FWD v6 engines and gearboxes though. Would be interesting.
>>14742674
meh.
The R version gets 270hp out of the same engine.
>>14742715
>1.6 and 270hp.
Ticking time bomb.
>>14742715
lel 1.6 with 270hp
that engine surely will last....

Was it that long ago?

Note that the mileage is also pretty accurate.

Reliability on the 500 isn't too bad if you get the 1.2. They put the engine in millions of other cars like the Panda, Punto, Y, Ka and some others. Go for it, stop being a faggot.
Back to topic:
>pic related
I like the car but I'm not convinced I could live with having a car from a company that pulls out of the European market every couple of years and then comes back when their designer has found some new drugs
>>14742484
Peugeot build quality is very decent on their latest generation. The issue is the RCZ is based on the slightly older generation which is pigfat ugly 308 and not "totally not a golf" 308.
That said, the RCZ is a car which looks great on picture, probably performs well, but looks worse in real than in pictures. The top half of the car is great, but the bottom half is too much of the pigfat 308 and doesn't look good.
>>14743262
Weren't these available with stock lsd? Such a shame there aren't many good ones left, as I think it is one of the coolest cars of that era.
>>14744988
I've driven the RCZ a couple of times and you're right, you do notice that it's just a 308, worst case could be that it's a diesel 308 you're driving around in. But I think it looks absolutely amazing in person. I was driving on the motorway in it and a woman in the car next to me was taking a picture of it and her boyfriend was not too happy and tried overtaking me but he was in a Mk4 Golf so that didn't happen.
Rear headroom is stupid though, they might as well just make it a two seater
Giulietta. Must have it.
>>14744945
I'm with you. I'm this fucking close to buying that new Tivoli
>>14742484
I actually want to buy rcz with 2.0hdi
>>14745547
So you'd rather have a slow coupé ?
I'm surprised nobody has posted this yet

Golf sportwagon tdi

Fast enough for me, and it will last way longer than 1.6, i don't trust peugeot petrol engines
>>14745587
Why would you want to avoid Jaguar? It's the classiest brand on earth for god's sake. I'd buy a fucking Multipla if they slapped a Jag badge on the thing.
>>14745587
No point owning a Jaguar that isn't a Jaguar.

>>14743384
>Filename sounds like a snake talking
>>14745624
Jags haven't been unreliable since the 80's. They're rather average in reliability terms nowadays.
>>14745645
that average was probably contaminated with x types
i met a guy with an xjr that had to do a ton of repairs in the 2 years that he owned it
>inb4 euro elitists make that retarded claim that it's only because of neglegence and lower octane ratings in the us
>>14745696
I somewhat agree with the X type increasing overall reliability, but on the other hand I have owned a 90's XJ6 myself for almost 5 years and I've had virtually zero problems. A friend of mine owns an XK8 and also no major issues, so anecdotal evidence is anecdotal after all.
That's not to say they are cheap to maintain, because they are not, but let's not confuse high maintenance costs with reliability. I'm fairly sure that a lot of "unreliable" Jags are breaking down because the owners neglect the upkeep since it's rather expensive. No "euro elitism", just common sense here.
>>14744988
The ass on the RCZ is fucking magnificent though.
>>14745942
fuck i want one

Give this a read, it's pretty interesting.
I really want an infiniti but the thought that Renault might have had any involvement in it makes me shudder.
