can you guys help maybe, I've been looking for either of two cars my dad owned for like ten years and I've tried all sorts of stuff. I've tried a family member run vin at a junk yard, a friend police officer, some in the know car guys... But someone told me 4chan might be able to help. yeah it sounds dangerous but the truck is in amazing shape where the powertrain, suspension and anything else mechanical is concerned

The car was mechanically fine, but the dealer it's at is kinda dumpy and they didn't even clean the car before trying to sell it. It had dog hair everywhere including the headliner and smelled like dog. Also the dealer doesn't do trade in's at all. I would've got it if they did trade in's.

Do you mean Autocheck and CarFax? Diigo is just what I use to save and share my PDFs.
They give pretty much the same type of info, and most of the time they are pretty identical, although sometimes Autocheck will have info on a vehicle that is missing for CarFax, and the same goes for the opposite. The reason why I use Autocheck is that it has an unlimited-subscription option, which CarFax doesn't. If I used CarFax I'd end up paying $6000 a month instead of $130
