Whatever Bosch ones that aren't stupid expensive will fit on my car. I think I grabbed the $17.99 Icon ones from VatoZone last time.
Rain-X Latitude
PIAA Super Silicone

Bosch
Is it okay if I change fully synthetic oil every 3000 km without ever changing the oil filter?
Bosch. They are by far the best and cost 20 bucks. It's a no-brainer.

Thanks /o/, I went with the Bosch.

Whatever is cheap. Even the expensive ones don't last around here. Too much heat and UV exposure.
On a scale of 1/10, how hard are changing out shocks? Specifically, rear shocks on a 91 toyota pickup. It's a flatbed, so its easy to take off the bed to access the axle directly. Pic related, current rustpiles.

Rent a spring compressor for free from the VatoZone or whatever if you need it. Keep lots of PB Blaster, a propane torch, and a breaker bar nearby.
>>14725817
I dunno man. That thing is so narrow and rusty. I would just get a new strut and spring already assembled. Shit looks like a grenade the moment you put spring compressors on them. Or at least get a shop to compress the springs for you or someone you dont like to do it for you. 9/10 eminent chance of catastrophic failure.

For the love of god, dont get the goodyear ones from costco. Absolute trash straight from the packaging.
>>14727094
Damn just put a set on a dd.
They seem ok for $10 I paid for the pair so far.
>replaced a beam style pair of goodyears bought like 5 years ago
Also Bosch Icons are excellent
>just couldn't justify the price for this particular car.
Literally the cheapest they have at autozone or whatever. I swear they last twice as long as the expensive ones, I change them like once every other year.
>>14724301
PIAA silicone ones are the best. I have PIAA Aero Vogue Silicone Wipers, and they are the best I have ever used. You can replace the silicone blades too, so they last a long time. They are still quite pricey though.
>>14724737
Yea, it's most likely fine if you're doing it every 2 oil changes. By why even take the risk?
>>14727351
Why are you changing oil at 3,000 miles? It's not the 1960s anymore brahski, your oil lasts a fair bit longer than that
>>14727367
Might do a lot of city driving.
>mfw Home Depot sold Dupont wiper blades for $3.75 during Christmas sales
still have the pair as backups in my trunk, cant say if they are shit or not but worth it for the price alone.
what is a good way to keep them flexible and conditioned for long storage? spray the blades down with silicon oil?

That spring perch has the texture of a croissant. No bueno.

I was planning on just getting a whole new set. Gotta coat the frame anyway.
What would be the drawbacks of using a magnetic travel suspension concept with brakes? Would it even be possible?
