Used yellow film to tint the lower set. Gives cool look and are very bright. Any advice for future mods?

Yeah. Mod your skull with a bullet in it; yellow lights are for indicators and not the front.
Make sure to put zeon or hids in them then never turn them off.

So because of your apparent inability to tell apart small blinking amber lights and head sized yellow fog lights, people should refrain from using the superior color for their fog lights? Hell, yellow headlights and fog lights were -mandatory- in France until 1993 and are still legal throughout Europe and the US if equipped so from the factory.

What's the point of tinting the light? Wouldn't you need a bulb that actually produces yellow light to get the most benefit out of it?
Tinting the glass in front won't make it brighter, quite the opposite actually
Seems like a placebo to me

>yellow=orange
Get off the road, moron.

Apparently, yellow light penetrates fog better.

No, putting a film in front of a light source can make it dimmer and achieve a different color. However it doesn't look like OP did a real great job at this.
I do stage lighting for a living, when it comes to conventional fixtures, in order to change color or soften the light all we do is put film in front of the light source.

Oh wait, I can't into reading comprehension.
Yes you're right, it won't make it brighter, but a yellow light bulb putting out the same amount of lumens won't do much either. What you would need is simply a brighter light bulb
