Im looking to revamp an old snowboard. using contact paper but would like to use something over top to make it strong and thinking automotive clear coat of some sort. my question is will this stuff crack with the movement of the board? anyone use this stuff?

I'm pretty sure they use resin as a clearcoat/sealer on snowboards.
Something you can pickup in autozone for a fair price. Make sure you sand and buff it after it's dry so you can get that smooth glass finish

Whatever you put on top of the contact paper will only be as strong as the contact paper.
If you want a strong finish, you need to paint the board itself.
