In a 2010 Lexus RX350?
Apparently in 2010 they switched from the old dvd-swap update method, and it uses a hard drive now. I believe I have the correct software downloaded for it, but I don't know anything about the method which you are meant to install it. I'm seeing information that there might be some sort of "activation key" necessary at some point.
Thanks guys.
Sry must bump. At least for someone to remove hope.

Yeahh I've been googling thoroughly for a while now, nothing really. Plenty of videos/tutorials for older Lexus models, where all you do is swap a DVD hidden under the cargo bay. After 2010 it becomes more confusing. Even if I could just get someone in here to confirm what the update method is exactly. I see "USB" on the official sites, but then I'm seeing information that the USB is just for the activation code or something.
Blah.
Dealer has the master database for maps, the USB stick purchased acts as the license for installing the update. So yeah, no way to update the USB versions for free.
