the ST is a different car from the SE with dct (the terrible trans shudder issues). I'll admit the SE models are shit because of the dct, and I'm glad I got an ST instead

the only issues I can think of for the ST are

I own an mk6 gti and my friend has the st
Ive driven both and ridden in both
Ill take my gti every time
St is too flashy
And the st dashboard is shit and eats up leg room
Im 6'4 and i fit very comfortably in my gti the st though ive driven it and ridden in it and cant be confortable in it
The st does sound better though
But every advantage that the st has can be upgraded on the gti but the st you cant

I did. There's literally no TSBs related to the manual transmissions in either the Focus or Fiesta ST. They all have to do with the shitassfuck DCT/DSG or 6 speed Automatic (transmission control module in DPS6 cars)

I have and the tsb's are for the automatics. Only ones for the ST are temperature control issues and a tsb for resetting the maintenance light. I'm not whining, I'm just letting you know you're a baseless idiot.

I had the same dilemma, went with the gti.

Shifter was better, interior was better, not as torquey and has longer gears (with the manual at least).

Looks much better imo, nice subtle sharp lines and people get the fuck out of your way if you have the lighting package, I notice.

I bought mine used with 8300 miles on it for 21k leather seats, lighting package, park sensors.

Buy used nigga there are so many good ones around.
