Would I see much (if any) improvement in gear shifting if I were to do a CDV Delete on an e36 with an automatic transmission?
->>14682946 You'd have major shifting improvement if you convert it to a manual
Why do people who start these shit threads never look at the catalog?
is $4000 too much for a 2001 camry with 55000 miles?
>>14683194
4000 dollars for 50k miles is a pretty good deal regardless of the car. Bonus points for being a good shitbox model, will easily last to 200k miles of you take care of it.

Thanks breh!
How would the maintenance costs be for a poorfag on a mercedes 300D? I honestly think they're one of the more beautiful cars ever created, and I've wanted one for ages. Talking about $100-200 a month to throw at it max. I've heard mercedes have horrible maintenance costs, but I assumed that is for later models.
how do y'all feel about the 2015 Jetta 2liter S??
I can get it in manual.

$4k sounds suspicious for a 01 camry with that many miles on it. Have it checked out by a mechanic before you buy.

My friend's aunt is the one selling it. it was owned by her dad who recently died. normally id agree, rebuilt engine or something...but this one seems legit.
its an XLE as well

Don't.

Ah nice. Go for it anon.
Is it the V6? My first car was a 93 V6 camry and I loved that car.
>>14683601
not sure on that one. i hope so though
>>14683412
Only tdis are worth it. You can't buy those right now so there's no reason to buy a vw right now.

what exactly is the concern with the S? is it a reliability issue? seems fun to drive to me.
Looking to buy a van or big station wagon for road trips and camping. So far I'm bouncing around with Vanagons (though they are slow and semi unreliable), Caprice/Roadmaster Wagons, Toyota vans (Previas, Haces, ect), or maybe some of the varying year Econolines. I don't like SUVs or trucks. Budget is around $5000.
Any suggestions?
so just reading about f1 since i know nothing about it. i learned there are all these rules regarding limitations the cars have to follow.
i don't get it tho, if you wanted the most entertaining racing, why not just say "car companies: do whatever you can to make a machine that'll beat the other car companies' machines"

Maybe a Grand Caravan.
Don't know about reliability, but all the 2nd and 3rd row seats store in the floor, so you can get a lot of space. Not sure if it is standard on all models or an option.
