Why can't Infiniti and Acura be dis gud?
wtf is that an RCF?
acura has no direction as a brand, no idea what they want to be
infiniti just wants driver's aids and to seem sporty but they don't give a fuck about performance anymore
>>14664717
This. I have a G37 and even among the forum goers/enthusiasts the new Q50 and Q60 are getting a great big "meh". Infiniti doesn't want to be sporty enough to compete with BMW and Merc nor does it want to get more luxurious and raise the price point. So it'll just stay in limbo forever.

LFA nigger

Infiniti is underrated and would be better than Lexus if not for the small lineup. Acura is shit because Honda puts no work into them.
>>14664579
Toyota has a higher budget than Honda or Nissan.

Why do all luxury brands have awful naming conventions? Why can't they give cars names instead of just letters and numbers?
>>14668252
lexus is super easy to understand. the first two letters is the type of car. LS is the biggest car, GS is the middle one, IS is the small one, ES is the Avalon based one, RX is the crossover etc.
the 3 numbers at the end are the displacement. LS460 has a 4.6. IS350 has a 3.5 etc
if there is an "h" at the end then it's a hybrid
if there is a red "F" on the car then it's the performance trim
>>14668297
So are you suggesting this here LC500h has a 5.0 and not actually the 3.5 out of a tacoma?
>>14668315
Lexus displacement numbers *used* to make sense, but so did BMW's.
Lexus went terribly wrong when they started using the absolutely boring HSD drivetrain on everything and tried to do everything to make it sound interesting while it really isn't.
Worst offender is the CT200h (the Auris is better)
>>14664579
This is the first new Lexus where it looks like the entire car was designed as a whole. The grille actually looks cohesive and kinda good on it.
>>14668252
>Wow, is that a Z4 sDrive35is?
Yeah it's a Z4 sDrive35is.
>It's awesome. I love the Z4 sDrive35is.
Yeah, the Z4 sDrive35is is pretty cool.
IDK why but that thing will look good with the supra wing on it.....i was imagining and it looked good
>>14671150
>>14667083
This isn't the Supra guize.
The actual Supra is still in development.
>>14668297
BMW is even easier to understand. The bigger the first number (1,2,3,5,6,7) the bigger/more luxurious the car. And the last 2 numbers (
18, 20,25,30,40,50) just mean the trim - the bigger the number, the faster the car.
Yeah there are sone retarded exceptions pike the new Z4 but that's only on like
1 model.
>>14671207
its gonna bmw stuff in it, nope
>>14668297
The "F's" are silver with a blue outline, not red.

All of the non-hybrid Lexus numbers correlate to engine displacement.
The numbers for the hybrid vehicles connote of what the hybrid power train feels like if it were a conventional non-hybrid. For example the LS 600h feels like it has a 6.0L, the CT 200h feels like it has a 2.0L, the GS
450h feels like a 4.5L, etc. It's silly but it's done for marketing purposes to keep people who would overlook the small "h" and not understand why one LS with a 4.6L costs $50k more than another LS with the same displacement.
