I've had a lot of success just using a lot of rubbing alcohol and a microfiber cloth until I can't see any dirt or dust whatsoever and stick it on. Use a lot of force with your hands or a credit card if you don't have a squeegee since the adhesive is pressure activated.

Clean the area you're gonna put the sticker on, make sure it's dry, then apply the sticker, using a card like a credit card or just something flat to get the least amount of air bubbles. It's also better to do it a bit slowly.

test fit (place it over the spot you want it to go to make sure you have enough space)
clean area well
take off the backing paper
apply to area using the top transfer paper
rub that shit really well
slowly peel it off, making sure the transfer paper doesn't lift the sticker up

Leaving the transfer paper on any longer won't make a difference imo, I always just take it off right away. If anything i would be afraid of it getting baked on even more from the sun.

Yummy had a good webm of him applying some vinyls, but I didn't save it. You can probably find videos on youtube. It's pretty simple though, just take your time peeling it off and if anything lifts just push it down with a knife etc.

close. Only photo I can find on my computer, car's a bit dirty in this one. Going to put a red WAT sticker with smaller white lettering and gold Akina Speed Stars on the back, and then the Fairlady Z sticker on the back next to the Nissan (the way it was in Japan.) I've got a few other slaps I ordered that I'm probably not going to put on yet until I can figure out where they look the best. Not even sure about the wat/akina location yet either desu, might stick it on the side windows instead of the back.

If it's on a windows you shouldn't need to clay. You could for extra peace of mind, but just wiping it down well should be more than enough. Glass is super smooth and should give you a good surface to stick to. It's only more of a problem on textured surfaces.

That depends, do you have a lot of money to blow on it or not? I love it to bits, it's a great car but 300zx's are notorious for acting up all the time. You should be ready to drop several hundred at any moment if something breaks or starts acting funny. For the most part though, if you get one that was well-maintained you shouldn't really have to worry about that, they can be pretty reliable if you look after it. I've been daily driving mine for around 4 months now with no problems (knock on wood.) Working on it is a bitch due to how cramped the engine bay is. I'd say buy it, you'll probably end up enjoying it a lot, but make sure you or someone you know has small hands if you plan on working on it.
