Someone is salty.

Born and raised Floridian here. Yes, there are some absolutely batshit retards in this state. But avoiding them is easy: avoid Wal-Marts, college campuses, and parts of big cities were streets are in Spanish.

It's hard to expect great things when this state is the love child of Cuba and the deep South. We have the best/worst of both worlds. It's a very bipolar state.

Just look at the positives, man. Beaches, babes, boats, booze. There's plenty of it here. Lighten up, damn it.

May as well remove states with emissions testing and safety inspections off the list.

Commiefornia is immediately disqualified no ifs, ands, or buts.

New York, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New Jersey, Delaware, and Vermont are also disqualified because they require emissions testing in all jurisdictions and all but New Jersey and Connecticut require safety inspections too.

Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Nevada, Utah, Arizona, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Missouri, Louisiana, Wisconsin, Illinois, Tennessee, Indiana, Ohio, Georgia Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Maine all require emissions testing near metropolitan areas.

Utah, Texas, Missouri, Louisiana, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, and Maine take a double strike because they also require safety inspections.

Nebraska requires a safety inspection if you register an out of state vehicle, Mississippi and West Virginia require safety inspections. Alabama requires safety inspections upon sale or transfer.

That leaves Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Iowa, Arkansas, Kentucky, Florida, South Carolina.

So basically Florida or maybe South Carolina because the rest either have winters or are undesirable. Oklahoma is automatically out. Arkansas could be okay there are some windy roads in the bluffs with elevation change, but you have to watch out for the cousin lovers. The rest all have too much winter.
>>
>>14482293

Southern California isn't bad for motorsports. There are numerous world class facilities nearby. The weather allows racing season to run all year. If you have a race car most if not all of the negatives of CA auto enforcement are gone. And if you have classic 1975 and older you're good on the street too.

There are some great roads in north central Florida with some good hills and some twisty treats. Alachua/Union Counties around the hilly I-75 corridor. Give it a look

>>14482779
My defense wasn't the necessity to be drunk to enjoy it, but rather we have a great beer, wine, and spirit scene. Not wine country like Cali but we do pretty well.

There's also good camping and hiking for such a flat state (check out the Keys and panhandle, they have some badass primitive camping), and the polar opposite in the typical tourist attractions of Orlando.

Sports teams? Tons of them, with a variety of sports.

As for the car scene, there are plenty of cars and coffee opportunities, show opportunities, and even Jap importers here in Florida.

I could go on and on. We have the right mix. No, I'm not saying it's perfect here, but as long as you're here, you might as well see the good in it.

County Road 241 leading north from Alachua into Union County. It looks straight, but the hills and the view are fun. There's an amazing view when heading north at the last hill before the county line. Beautiful scene. Then in Union, there are some nice, fun twisties.

Grandparents have a farm out there, that's how I know. Used to go to High Springs all the time, still do from time to time. Live near any of the springs themselves?

I've had safety inspections in 5 states not including Texas and they've all been about that.

>>14482413

You're right. Way too much winter to even be considered.

>>14483429

Florida has 4 road courses at least. Plenty of good jobs there and cheap houses from the crisis still.

Georgia isn't too far to get to its 4 road courses, including Road Atlanta. Barber Motorsports Park in Alabama wouldn't be too far either depending on where you locate in Florida.

South Carolina has Carolina Motorsports Park which is actually pretty great. From there you'd be close enough to VIR too. Also not too far from a huge race center, Charlotte.

As for SoCal I would make 46% more working the same job, but cost of housing would go up 130%, utilities 24%, food 15%, transit 33%, healthcare 14%.

Honestly, I wouldn't mind picking something like Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, or even Oklahoma. I would still make decent money. Cost of living is dirt cheap. Land is cheap. There's a fantastic drag racing and circle track scene. It's near the SCCA headquarters and nationals in autoX and rallyX with dedicated venues and top level drivers. There's Heartland Park Topeka road course, drag strip, and used to be a dirt oval that may be coming back. Hallett, Hastings Motorsports Park, RPM in Iowa, a roval that Rusty Wallace built in Iowa. Circuit of the Americas, Road America, and some tracks in Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky would all be doable in a weekend trip.

>>
>>14483629

You can only do so much on a public road anyhow. I've lived where there's a Mulholland Drive type road. They're usually chock full of cops, people going 25, have low speed limits, squid bikers, cyclists, and the list goes on. I went to Tail of the Dragon because everyone raves about it. Absolute garbage. I've been faster in a parking garage with curved ramps to the top. I am looking for all types of motorsports and year round.

It's at least not an automatic no like CA.

Florida has a mix of paved and dirt ovals, road courses, drag strips. Florida has decent weather most of the year.

If your state even theoretically uses salt it's automatically disqualified. Otherwise it's like saying a state is great for gun owners when it legally requires you to store guns in a bowl of salt water.
>>
>>14483747
Im pretty sure more varies by county/city than state.

My county uses salt, the county next mine doesn't. Then again they barely have any snow removal service at all

Arkansas is seeming okay actually. The Ozarks region has some great driving roads. Little Rock actually has a decently cool night life and car scene. The cost of living is cheap. Land is cheap. Winter is usually very mild with little to no snow depending on location. Only problem is longer treks to tracks, but you could be centrally located about 5-9 hours from a huge number of tracks in the Great Plains and Mid West just not very close to a single track.

>Owning retarded weaponry for the sake of owning retarded weaponry is like buying a formula car and never participating in a series.
No. Owning something that you like because you want to its like having freedom. You want to know why people call it "Commiefornia"? Because of people like you.
>>
>>14486162
So you buy something to never use it for its intended purpose? Lemme guess, you're the kind of faggot who would win the lottery buy a heap of fast cars and never ever touch them? Roflmao
>>
>>14486187
Is there any issue with doing exactly that you fucking faggot? if i win the lottery to buy whatever the fuck i want and i do exactly what i should be able to because I CAN.

Or are you going to be the communist asshole who wants me to share my own shit just because you want it more than i do?

>Buying a rave car and never racing it makes you a cuck
No. Buying a race car and wanting everyone but you to use it makes you a cuck. Buying something because you want to and deciding what to do with it its called "freedom", you fucking retard.

>no its called autism

Did you had a shitbrain-enhancement surgery when you were born? sorry if i am not a poorfag who has to use everything that i have just to feel like its not a waste, unlike you, but someone's property means they have the right to do whatever the flying magical fuck they want with it.

You are the worst kind of transplant, yankee kikesucker that has destroyed my native state of California.

We used to be cool, like Colorado or Nevada, but with superior climate and natural beauty/parks etc.

You turds have turned it into a gentrified, segregated yuppie/nigger slum shithole.

Kill yourself, SoCal scum.

So you're saying you're allowed to go on a shooting spree bevause "HUUR I PAID FOR IT I'LL DO WHAY I FUCKING WANT FREEDUM MO FUGGA??

Gun fags just shoot themselves in the foot at any opportunity don't you

>thinking paying a house on an automatic gun or going through some paperwork to become a wepaon's dealer means going into a shooting spree

Go fuck yourself pal. That logic of "IF YOU WANT SOMETHING THAT I DONT LIKE THEN YOU ARE GONNA KILL PEOPLE WITH IT" its what made cali into a nanny soccermom state.
