They're nice, but some of us like buttons and switches and dials.

I like minimalist design too. Both on car exteriors and house interiors. But with car interiors IMO there's a sweet spot between this sort of thing and BMW interiors. They're just too plain.

It doesn't distract me at all. I like being able to actuate anything in my car without taking my eyes off the road.

I just really genuinely love heaps of buttons and switches in a car. It goes back to when I was a kid maybe. All the luxury cars had way more features. And hence way more buttons. Makes it look fancy as fuck and not to mention confusing as fuck to anyone who doesn't know the car.
