Could be how you drive, accelerating upto speed, length of your journey, time spent in traffic, and how many miles is on the odo theres lots of variables but if your trying to get dppd economy and thats the best you can do it may need a tune and complete service to help it out

How long is your comute? And yea you should be able too i get good economy in an awd turbo its all in how you drive and how long the journey is

My average is 24mpg in my gc8 wrx, its got an sti motor and turbo, i try not to let the turbo spool on around town journeys, and let loose on motorway onramps pic related my beby

Mostly highway because I live out of town from where everything is. It is winter right now. I cannot remember if the MPG was the same before. Manual 5 speed. I occasionally do drive in traffic.

Hmmm it might be worth getting an obd scanner and seeing if anything is acting out of the ordinary, keep tyres inflated and do a service, other then that idk, the o2 sensor could be on its way out so a new one might help

Slow down, wind resistance increases exponentially with speed and it's even more of a hindrance on fuel economy with denser winter air. Also, extended warm up times don't help anything either.

I let my car sit for a minute or so, or until the revs drop. If I don't, the gears are harder to engage and everything feels stiff. My average speed on the highway is ~69.
