Once you pass 5500rpm yeah. The gearing is hilariously tall at the moment so it's a bit anemic below that. It's absolutely ruined my sense of speed though, everything feels slow now.

Been thinking I might go -1 on the front and +2 on the back when I do the remap. That'd make it a lot scarier. Could make the acceleration uncontrollable though.

Good E36 are hard to find. Just be careful of the 328i nikasil engines. Find a recall if you go that way. S50 if you can afford an M3, or get a 323i and turbocharged it.

The OEM M3 body kit for them looks cool as long as it's not a 318i. Be patient and a manual will turn up.
