Eh, they still have two fun cars in their lineup, which isn't bad. Some brands only have one (Mazda) or none at all (Honda, Mitsubishi, VW). What I don't like about modern Nissan is their styling. Some of their cars like the Juke are straight up atrocious.

Pros - Pin and Rack steering makes it feel like a real wheel in the sense that your input isnt clouded by electronic steering. perfect weight to it. Y Rated tires grip nicely in corners (havent romped yet doing a proper break in) 295's in the rear, with a staggered set up (dont know fronts off top of my mind) the 5k+ recaro seats feel amazing, possibly the best seats ive ever sat in to be honest. It has great torque in the low end enough to overtake without going passed 3000 Rpm. Bose speakers are wonderful.

Cons: mcpherson struts make these cars really hard to enjoy in a poor street. Very jerky if road quality is poor. Lots of wheel noise with windows up. No unique badge plate showing which number is yours this year (that i know of.) Price is scary and it does indeed not offer the best of the best components. Older engine means better reliability through sheer experience, but the technology gap is obvious as the VQ motor gets a whopping 14 MPG in the streets and 24 in the highway. If its actually a con 93 octane, i personally just pump it regardless if the car needs it or not but this car DOES need it. And also, dont even bother trying to turn back to reverse, stick to the camera there isnt a way to reverse looking back with the small meme window.

But to be honest, the car does 0 to 60 in 5.0 maybe 4.9 is possible in the nismo form. I believe it can hold .90g in turns and the brakes come big and powerful. You can battle over horsepower numbers and lap times and stats but when it comes to owning, you own whatever the fuck you want. Thats why this forum has so many MR2's (which im looking to pick up too) miatas and lifted offroad 240's. This car is a niche car and that doesnt make it bad. Its a great car but its obvious the company is running on an old formula and its showing it. This car is great because it gives you perhaps the last taste of an age that is slowly disappearing.

10/10 personally but unbiased and being super critical Id say 8.3/10

I do not like american muscle cars, I didn't like the feel of the camaro or mustang interior. The challenger scat pack was interesting, but again the big heavy scene wasn't my thing. I was going to get the new ND Miata but I didn't get excited sitting in it or being in it. I was between then a 370z nismo, and STI, or an Evo. And out of the three, the most fun I had was in the 370z. I mean, it's just my opinion. I love my 350z, it's mostly stock except for suspension. Any ideas for tasteful wheels? Was looking at getting te37s. Id post a picture but it's too big and I'm on mobile so have this instead

The only thing I really hate bout the 370z Nismo is the interior... they should REALLY update it along with the facelift. But hey, its very subjective.

Electric power steering has nothing to do with road feel, my car has it but it's sort of a passive system. It really only helps you in parking lots, and doesn't do much of anything while driving, and you can feel everything in the road.
