I don't get this whole 'ran when parked' thing.
If it ran, why the fuck did you park it?
If it wasn't practical or got poor gas mileage, why didn't you just take it out for a spin periodically?
If you couldn't afford to drive it, why didn't you just sell it? By letting it sit and rot, you basically ruined it worse than just by driving it around.
The only time I've ever 'parked' a vehicle for more than a week or two is because it didn't run and I had to aquire parts/time/money. If it's gonna sit for more than a few months, take the proper steps to put it away! Pisses me off.

It's going good. We took the old block to the machinist and he said the block is fixable. The main journey al's need to be cut and fitted with oversized bearings, and all the cylinders honed. It has Keith black pistons, forged rods, and an eagle cross drilled crank. We recently bought a set of dart pro 1 aluminum heads and a dart intake.
