Can anyone identify what make and model this car is?
Mitsubishi lancer
Looks like a last gen Lancer.
>>14224403
Mitsubishi Lancer would be my guess.
>>14224403
Yep, it's an Evo X.
>>14224412
Maybe mazda 3. I dunno.
>>14224403
Anyone know how fucked their paint will be after they can remove the ice? Seems like it'll be pretty fucked up.
>>14224403
Hahaha that's around the parking areas of Fort Erie I live on the canadian side of the boarder where this happened
>>14224418
Nah, it's definitely a Lancer. You cna just barely see the outline of the taillights under the ice.
>>14224426
fine as long as you dont take the ice off with a paint scraper
>>14224432
This, 100% a Lancer.
>/o/ being nothing but helpful
the fuck is going on here
>>14224416
nah, just an base 08-15 lancer. rear reflectors line up with the license plate cut out on base lancers. evos rear reflectors line up above the license plate and the plate itself is mounted lower on the evo rear diffuser (which pick related does not have)
>>14224432
you are right that its a lancer but evos and lancers share the same tail lights and trunk lids. Lancer and evo guys trade trunks all the time for reasons
>>14224403
OMG what's wrong with you guys? It's clearly a fiero with a bodykit.
>>14224403
Subaru Imprezza?
>>14224451
Because its not a huurrr what car is in this dodgeram.jpg image thread?
>>14224451
The high school posters are at school.
Frozen in time. Like the Evo
>>14224538
These are all 2015 models still there in mid January. They have 30 Evos.
>>14224403
That lake effect combined with the polar vortex is a bitch aint it!!! Remember the 'knife'?? God damn those weather control Jews are good
>>14224403
Looks like a pretty cool car
>>14224538
LMFAO
>>14224614
god damn it Carlos
>>14224403
What kind of damage are we looking at here? Or would it be fine after defrosting it?
>>14225130
If I was doing this I would've used two mid-size diesel heaters and put them at a safe distance to it in an effort to defrost
>>14224553
Could probably get a decent deal on them, if the dealership is motivated to sell them.
>>14225130
Depends on the weight of the ice.
>>14225130
I can't see how any real damage would occur. Unless that's salt water in which case you better defrost and desalinate that bitch ASAP.
>>14224451
>what do you mean we can't ls swap the s13
>implying
>>14225173
That much ice can really damage your paint if removed incorrectly. Also, water expands when turned to ice and can cause fucktons of damage to vents, door seals, locks and similar
>>14224403
It is a bulletproof Kanmuri.
this is down the street from my house lol, I had 8 feet of snow at my house
>>14224403
Looks like a mitubishi evo
>>14225142
industrial rental places also have big self contained trailer mounted models with an onboard generator, they're called ground heaters, i rent them to north slope oil fields all winter. our most common model is 770,000 btu at 4000 cfm, and thats the mid size :) would be done by the time you finished lunch.
>>14224426
Just let it melt desu and take the bus in the meantime
All ready went over this on the evo dsm facebook page. Its a lancer ralliart
>>14225852
What if you live somewhere its a good bit below freezing from November to late April?
lancer/evo x
>>14225162
Mitus dealers aren't cutting deals on them. They've actually started marking them up here because winter and
>awd
>>14225162
too bad none of them need to discount them because muh last ever evo "last chance to get one"
>>14224403
Are people that retarded to park there or is it some sort of write-off-a-shitbox on insurance scheme?
>>14225173
The Great Lakes are fresh water you fucking moron.

>jug of hot water
>bye ice
WRX STi
>>14224614
Fuck you Carlos I came here to say that.
>>14229908
>lived in Houston all my life, so what is ice, go to college in Arkansas during cold spell
>needed to drive to get shit south of town but it had been icy all day
>take a pot of hot tap water and run back and forth throwing it at the car to deal with the big chunks
>somehow nothing breaks on the car, tell people how I did it at the gas stop and everyone freaks out
>>14231642
i still live in houston, why is that weird/dangerous?
>>14231642
>>14231659
You cannot be this stupid
>>14231659
It's not. However, I wouldn't splash it with a boiled water. Just pour some warm water and then tap on ice softly.
>>14231697
is that a challenge i hear?
>>14231725
using hot air is optimal.
